Sometimes the AI in the series is stated as not being very clever, however it doesn't change the fact that it's one of the best RTT/RTS AIs if not the best up to date, anyone may prove us wrong! :)

Significantly enhancements have been done to MoW anyway, and the initiative beats all records. Sometimes you may think you are unnecessary. Your only task: sit down and watch your troops fighting. However this is only the first sight.
The AI may fight well on its own, but tactical decisions and your strategy can only be completed by yourself, not to mention some fine actions with direct control, at the end you are still smarter than the AI.

No matter what soldier or vehicle you have, it always has it's own inventory, allowing you to reequip every soldier with more powerful weapons, gather ammo from enemy bodies, or take their weapons.
Recently it was very complex task to rearm a group of infantry, especially, if you had a bunch of poorly equipped soldiers, actually it was necessary to rearm every single on of them. Finally we added the feature to reequip your squad with weapons fully automatical.

A sniper will search for a weapon matching to his skills, a mgunner will do the same, once again less work for you, but I'm sure you are thankful 8O
