Men of War: Developers update 05

Sorry for the delay, as excuse we added some extra screenshots today ;)

Many of you are interested in the new content, so we are going to tell you a bit about the new toys for you all ;)
The time period 1941-1945 also includes new battle locations which were not available for the full game yet. Like the battle of Sevastopol or Moscow. It was necessary to create and expand the Ukrainian and Russian content for the game.
You will have new typical Russian buildings and special created content for the battle locations such as new industrial crates and objects or foxholes for your defenders of Moscow.

Also ofcourse we will tell you about some new vehicles, that you will meet on new battlefields. Many units were already in game, but we lacked early war period weapons.
Soviets will have – machine gun “Maxim”, light tank T-26, heavy tank KV-2 and AA-gun 61K. Ofcourse we also added units for later war periods, but we will talk about them next time.

Machine gun «Maxim» was developed in 1883 and became “father” of all machine guns. Despite its weaknesses (it has weight of 65 kg with mount) and new machine guns developed, it was a most used mounted machine gun in Soviet army until the end of war.

37-mm AA-gun 61K was created in 1939. Its main purpose was to fight low-flying and diving planes, and it has lower efficiency against planes flying high above.

Light tank T-26 production was started in 1933. It was an infantry support tank with bulletproof armor, 45 mm gun and machine gun in turret. Along with BT-7 it was one of the main light tanks in USSR in 1941. This tank has a lot of modifications, on of those were a flamethrower and engineer variant.

KV-2 has unbelievable characteristics comparing to any other tank available on Eastern front in 1941 – 75 mm armor, that can’t be penetrated by German tank guns, and 152 mm howitzer that rip those tanks in pieces. One KV-2 continued fighting even after 120 hits and was left by crew only because there was no more ammo to fight.
