I would like to notify all of you that you have 14 days after payment to cancel your subscription and get your money back. This should also give you a hint that the service is trustworthy.

PayPal offers you to pay via credit card and even without an account there. PayPal itself is a very safe way to pay, as they create a sort of "bank account" for you, and only the money on the account can be spend. (except if you told PayPal to get money from your bank account directly)

PayPal has also some insurances when buying on ebay etc.

No, open betas and demos will be still available for free. However, open betas may not make sense for every game, but this has nothing to do with the subscription, but with a simple technical point of view.

May be a stupid question, but, can I subscribe when I want or there is a restriction of period when subscriptions are made, for let's say I want to subscribe in middle of November and not now.

It's planned to lock down subscription after October. I'm not sure yet though.

after reading your answer to my question above this now seems to me to be less about money, and more about giving and getting something for both the devs and us end users, when i first read about this i did get rather angry as it seemed to be a way of replacing free beta tests, however i now think i may try the bronze option out to see exactly what is being done!!!

ALSO thanks for speedy reply and sorry for reacting without first asking more questions about this to get a better picture of the "service" you's are planning, after all £6.50 is not a lot of money and i have spent around 5 times that ammount on games that were binned after 5 minutes in the past!!!

I can't understand why people are complaining about this. Do they feel they should get to do this for free and essentially play the game without paying for it? An open beta is one thing, but this allows for so much more.

For those of us that really think that MoW will benefit with a little bit of improvement and a few suggestions for the developers along the way, this is a golden opportunity. I, for one have gotten a lot of my friends to buy the game, and none of them have liked it as much as I have for various reasons, they'll play it from time to time, but they don't seem terribly interested. After talking to a few of them, it was all just really simple little things that could have been done to have some permanent customers. For me, this opportunity to provide feedback directly to the development team allows the community to have a hand in shaping the future of the game which will help the community not only grow larger, but provide a better gameplay experience for thousands of players.

It's a great opportunity and I am all over it.

@ frozenliquidity

No i dont think anyone should get to play a good game for free, but i would imagine that most people like i did thought that this was a way of replacing open betas with pay to play betas which would be a total rip off as betas work well for developers and end users alike, also there are plenty of threads opened by the developers asking what would make the game better and if theres an expansion what would we fans like to see in it! so the devs already have ways of getting suggestions and feedback about the product without us paying to make the suggestions.

you say "An open beta is one thing, but this allows for so much more" , can you tell me exactly what extra you will get over an open beta? the reason i ask this is that i dont see anything much different from an open beta being offered for the cash!
dont get me wrong im actualy considering paying for this simply because i am a dyed in the wool MOW fan and would enjoy being able to test new stuff long before release, but if we are being asked to pay for testing stuff thats buggy and crashes a lot then i am totaly against paying for that, are you not?

p.s. congrats on your site, i think its by far the best MOW site other than DMS!!!

@ instinct, i was wanting to try the bronze option to get a first hand view of this and make my mind up, but the offer is only open for a short time it says on the sighn up page, would i be able to extend beyond the initial 3 months if i am taken by this?

i feel i should say that i am sceptical about anything like this, because of being ripped off in the past!!! this is why i am being so uptite and sceptical, but anyone who has read my posts over the time ive been a member of this site/community will know how strongly i support and love this game!!!
