In the screenshot i see this - {<<include "/properties/stuff_small.ext") - you've incorrectly put a "{" at the start of it and should be "(", so it will be - (include "/properties/stuff_small.ext"), that'll fix that.

Also use the TAB key infront of the "{Extension "sks_eg.mdl"}" line to move it more to the right, so its in a straight line down with the others, this is probably why your getting the red exclamation mark as it can't find it.

As for the description, open up your localization.pak folder and copy the desc file and place it into your mod folder, in localization (create it if you don't have it). The localization folder is on its own and doesn't go in the Resource folder, it goes into the folder where the Resource folder and mod.info file is. Open up the desc file with notepad and it pretty much explains itself.

Wow thanks m8, it works great now, but I have another problem, my in game weapon models are facing up instead of forward, I tried changing the foresight x arrow pivot numerous times, could it be a scripting error?

You don't change the pivot of the foresight, all that will do is change the direction you fire, go to my part 1 video and skip to 1:18, check the pivot of the gun model is correct to what you see in the video, so the world and pivot directions are the same.

Since the gun is lying on its left side, these are what you should have:

X facing towards barrel, Y facing towards the top of the gun, Z facing to the right of the gun, this is for both pivot and world directions.

I am sure that I have the pivots facing correctly, X=green facing barrel, Y=blue facing top, z=red facing out to the right.

Do the colours of the arrows matter at all? , I did select hierarchy, affect pivot only then centered the pivot, I then moved the gun as to align the handle with the centre of the pivot, could this be what is causing my problem?

Yes they do, seems you've become confused, X=red, Y=green and Z=blue, you can see the colours in the lower left, correct this and your weapon will then be the right way.

How can I edit the .ply files? What even are they? (Guessing they are the model files) And how can I export models for humans and inventory items?
