Artillery problems
A friend of mine recognized a problem with the sFH 18 howitzer. I don´t know if this is a problem with every howitzer (I don´t buy them
).He fired a couple of granates on the enemy an then he wanted to move,his crew pulled it around and as he wanted to fire again he could not make them fire again because they were in the moving mode and the button to change this wasn´t there anymore , it disapeared. Is there any solution for that?We think it came with the last patch.

I get this all the time with Russian light arty. This and some way to reload the Katya's is on my wish list.

This happens to me sometimes as well. So here are some things recommend:
1. You could see i you are using Direct Control
2. You could use Direct Control to move the Artillery piece into a more open area where i could set down
3. Drop the Artillery piece and then pick it up again

If you get such bugs, I recommend getting Wespe or Hummel. Just my personal flav. Less micro here = more micro to your Inf. More speed/mobility you could get with 100.mp+x.cp in a dedicated vehicle. And almost impossible to destroy by a 150mm artillery grenade.

Bug has been there since arty has been changed to barrage format instead single shots. It has to do with how the engine is coded. Those vehicles are not allowed to move once they start firing.. and if you move them in the middle of a barrage you'll get this bug. It cannot be fixed... just a poor job with this engine.

Did not know that it was because of a move in the middle of firing. That helps. From now on better multi-tasking choices.
