If you still have problems with the old Africa or winter skins, take the "RepMod".
It includes everything to get running again for most of the old mods.

"ModelleausaltenPatches" includes sdkfz251_17, is2_44 and pz6b before 1.97.7

German Power Map 2 is up for grabs on first page of post.

This is a BETA version because I need the MOWAS community to test it....

Because of the extremely large map size and an excessive number of entities this mission may run slowly.

I suggest lowering the graphics detail in video options and this should help...

I have used my custom mortar sound and blood FX mod in this mission to add more depth and immersion...

Have fun and please report any problems or suggestions.....

I tested this because of your good mod work here, like your Faces of War conversions,
and I got a new computer recently to play heavy Men of War Assault Squad mods,
like my favorite Neverending Battles.

This German Power Map 2 is too HEAVY !!!
on my i5-2500k 4.3Ghz (auto turbo mode),
Corsair H100 water cooled, Asus GTX 560 Ti Ti TOP 1G,
SSD, Windows 7 64bit computer.

This mod is NO FUN.
Was only getting 1 frame per second.
Then screen went to white-out and started shimmering.
Had to Close the Process.

The start of the German Power Map 2 is so heavy, what can be seen on the mini-map,
it is like 2 or 3 of the Neverending Battles mod missions,
near the end when many enemy are on the map.

Will not lower graphic settings for mods.

UPDATE - I had another try of it.
I have an Asus graphics card.
This time I enabled Asus Gamer OSD and Smart Doctor on Hyperdrive - chose 3D game mode.
Also used Game Booster 3 which anyone can use.

This time did not use Core Temp and Core Temp Gadget for monitoring.
At start used Fraps for frames per second monitor and that was
now showing 10 FPS instead of 1 before.
Then turned Fraps off.
Did not lower graphic settings.
This mod for my computer would be playable with close to smooth action.

Hi OVO,

I wouldn't bother with GPM 2 - Even when played in MOW 1.17.1 the game is unstable and crashes far too much....

The author has been making maps / missions on an unpatched version of MOW so its pure luck they even work.....

Follow the forum posts on page 8 of GMP2 topic on MODDB for a clearer explanation from the author.

( fastlegs is helping dlcatalin now so expect some awesome missions / maps really soon )

PS: I will port them to MOWAS as soon as they are released...

I am working on a very much polished version of GPM 1 for MOWAS at the moment..... ( using the very latest MOW version by dlcatalin from MODDB )
