Resources - official guide
Not much of a guide, but due to request this is our official design doc for the resource distribution changes done a while ago. It will also help you understand when and how much MP you receive. Keep in mind, payback is not calculated (the speed of resources you receive, when losing a unit).
Cumulative is the amount of max resources you have available during given time.

The standard payback for Assault Zones/Combat is 1.25 MP per second. That means you receive 1.25 MP every second for the lost units until the lost amount of resources is regained. Payback stops once you reach the current max resource limit. The payback range is indicated by dark green color on your resource bar."If men would consider not so much where they differ, as wherein they agree, there would be far less of uncharitableness and angry feeling in the world" -Joseph Addison

It keeps the game alive and incites aggressive gameplay. It's all well and dandy.
Regarding the resources, I love the new distribution and have always fancied the idea of a longer mid-game. It's one of the reasons I came back to MoWAS.
Only beef I'd be nagging at at this time is: That Pershing / IS-2 and to some degrees the Centurion are too cheap/easily available, because the Tiger I's window of opportunity has been shortened by 100mp. If they were 1600mp / 1600mp / 1700mp OR at 50cp, the Tiger or Panther would get their time back (even then they have natural enemies cheaper than them) and Persh / IS-2 / Cent would be closer to their natural enemy, which is the good old 1800mp Jagdpanther. It might also half the Pershing/IS-2 spam we see in >=3v3 games nowadays.Last edited by Ritterlichvon86; 05-02-2012 at 01:55.

I have one question about this info - how it looks when you set more MP - for example 3500 - it adds only more points per minute, or it also adds more minutes to distribution time?

The minutes remain the same, you have to alter them in a mod if you wish to have different distribution time.

For the "curve" or grow table I see that it starts at a % 0.65 and that % goes up for the next 25 minutes. What is this a percentage of? The difference of the start and end resources divided by the grow time?
I see the number "142" on your excel spreadsheet (11, AD). I believe this is the number I'm looking for. How is it generated/is it possible to change it?Last edited by Ty2903; 08-03-2012 at 20:34. Reason: type-o

I respect your opinion but this just help spam and frenzy gameplay, there's no strategy if u just send wave on wave of unit because u know it will be refound, it's the same reason make me leave Coh. Strategy need time for think and move, send 3000 point of units in 20 min is not strategy, anyway if u all like this i don't mind i just want choose! Sadly i think the only choose i can do is change game.
