Re: General News: The names of the series
And while you're at it you could fix the release of Men of War to autumn 2008 instead of summer

Re: General News: The names of the series
Some translations just don't fit. For instance the original Russian name for Soldiers-HoWWII translates into In the Rear of the Enemy. In English that is a somewhat homosexually referenced title
. Personally I think it's hilarious but others may not.

Haha xD
Good thing the western versions have a totally diff name and not a translation of the russian one... none would buy it otherwise "Уи Ѕоviэт Яцѕѕіа, Щікіредіа Едітѕ Уфц!"

Re: General News: The names of the series
Well thats true, but anyway names like
Faces if War, Men of War, Outfront, Soldiers HOW2 are all names that could work all over the name.
Is it the same "problem" with other titles/companies were gametitles have to change when released in diffrent countries?http://www.digitalmindsoft.eu/outcom...dmsuserbar.jpg

Re: General News: The names of the series
Yep. Movies run into the same thing when being translated from one language to another. Sometimes they just make up a new title because the direct translation gave away plot, was impractical, etc.
