Men of war Assault squad. The five factions(with video trailers)

Hi all ever since MoW Assault squad got released i have had plans of making a introduction videos of each faction.
Both to show the unique units each faction has for newbies and people who are thinking of getting the game.
But the video is also a Tribute to the five factions and all their awsome equipment!

Unfortunately I did not have room to add all units. But there is alot of them in there.

Here is the first three factions. I will make videos for the Japanese and Commonwealth in the near future.

Here is some info about each faction i have made a video about so far.

In short about the German faction:

-Strong late game tanks/tank destroyers.

-Overall very solid infantry. MG-42, Vet snipers, Panzershrecks, Brandenburgers, Paratroopers and Panzergrenadieres.

-Many of the German tanks/AT guns comes with very powerful guns. Both in penetration and accuracy.
Which makes them really good at knocking out tanks from a long distance.

-They got many powerful tankdestroyers that sacrifices a turret for greater firepower and/or armor.

-Many tanks/tank destroyers comes with "sideskirts" which makes them hard to knock out by AT infantry.

-They got good armored cars like the 222 and Puma. Not just firepower but also armor.

Weaknesses:

-Many of their early game tanks has thin unsloped armor. This means they lack a solid pusher tank like a T-34 or matilda early on.

-Many tanks also got very weak side armor and some tanks like Panzer IV H, Hetzers got weakspots that can be devastating if the opponant knows where to shoot.

-The basic infantry except for the MG-42 is only mediocre. Both smgs and rifles are nothing special.

In short about the USSR faction:

-Strong both early, mid and late game.

-Solid basic infantry equipped with the powerful PPSH smg, DP-27 Machine gun, AT-rifle and molotovs.

-Tanks come with a nice mix between armor and firepower. Specially the armor is impressive since most of their tanks have very good sloped armor. This makes soviet very good at pushing forward.
Some examples of well armored tanks: T-70(best armor on any light tank), T-34, KV-1 and the IS tanks.

-High caliber shells. Compared to other factions most of their tanks come with high caliber guns. For example the T-34/85, IS-2 and KV-2. High caliber shells have more effective HE shells and the AP shells are more likely to knock out enemy tanks if they penetrate.

Weaknesses:

-Many tanks got innaccurate guns and a low rate of fire.

-Some of the early guns like the 45mm and 76mm got rather poor penetration.

-The Red guard infantry is not as strong as other elite infantries.

-They have less AT guns then other factions.

In short about the US faction:

-Strong early game.

-Strong infantry. Both basic and elite infantry. Awsome semi automatic garands, solid Thompson smgs etc..

-Alot of their armor comes equipped with 50 cal machine guns which is great for dealing with infantry and in some cases light armor.

-Overall pretty good Artillery. Specially the Sherman 105 and the Sherman Calliope is very useful.

-40mm auto cannons on the M19 and bofors can be very powerful vs both infantry, buildings and in some cases armor. Especailly nice on urban maps.

-Overall a solid hero unit tree. M8, marines, sherman croc, Sherman 105, Jumbo 76 and Super pershing.

-They got many fast flanking units. For example M8 greyhound, Chaffe, Hellcat, M10 and slugger.

Weaknesses:

-They got few late game tank options. Which can become a problem if the enemy team can for example afford a Jagdpanther.
They only got a total of 3 tanks that has a more powerful gun then a 76mm.

-Overall the faction is very dependant on being agressive, if the enemy is allowed to save up they will be in trouble.

-Many of their tanks have a high silhouette which makes them easy to hit. for example all the Shermans, M10s and the M3 Lee.

In short about the Japanese faction:

-Strong early game.

-Very cheap light tanks

-Can be very deadly in 1v1 games.

-Got access to cheap artilleries.

-Cheap and useful AT-guns

-Some armored units comes equipped with alot machineguns. Like Ho-ha and Type 92.

-Has access to relativly accurate rocket mortars that can even deal with heavy tanks

-The tanks they got has pretty good guns.

-They got a wide selection of useful infantry weapons. Semi automatic AT rifles, Kamikazes, Paratroopers equipped with AP mines, AT-Riflegrenades etc...

Weaknesses:

-They got access to very few late game tanks

-Weak late game

-Very map dependant. Normally has a hard time on large and open maps.

-Weak armor on almost all the tanks they got. They really lack a solid pusher tank

-They lack a mobile and fast Autocannon tank/armored car for Harrassing.

-Long range artilleries can cause alot of harm to them.

-The rifles and Machineguns they got is only mediocre.

In short about the Commonwealth faction:

-Has access to several well armored tanks, which are excellent for pushing.

-Got many useful AT-guns. From the 2 pdr up to the 3.7 Inch.

-All the Elite Infantries are mainly specialized for close combat with SMGs. They can be really deadly in Urban combat.

-Most of the mid game tanks comes with the powerful 17-pdr gun which can wreck most heavy tanks at a decent
distance.

-Early Riflemen, SMG and Machine gunners are only mediocre. But the Assault squad leader stands out and can really help out in the early game.

-Midgame is normally when the Commonwealth faction is the strongest, thanks to Churchills, 17pdrs, 3.7 inch and medium tanks equipped with 17 pdrs.

Weaknesses:

-Very few good options to pick from in the Hero tree.

-Has very few late game units to pick from.

-Lacks a support tank with an arc. (But this will be solved once the new Cromwell Centaur arrives)

-Most of the tanks comes with either great armor and poor firepower or great firepower but very weak armor.

-The best firepower any tank comes with is the 17 pdr. The gun has good penetration but can be unreliable at times vs heavy tanks due to its medium caliber and mediocre accuracy.

-Overall infantries are not that great for fighting at long range, they really lack elite Infantries like Luftwaffe, Marines, rangers etc for long range fighting.

-Elite Infantries like commandos and Anzacs comes with AT mines. The Downside of that is that they come at the expense of not having any Dynamites, Satchel charges or hand held AT weapon like the Panzerfaust.
Overall its quite rare those AT mines gets used.

-Quite dependant on AT guns which can be a problem if the enemy gets a StuH or artillery.

I will update more information about the factions later.
If you feel that anything more should be added please say so. Like typical traits about a faction that makes em stand out.

This is amazing work I admire it but there is something wrong in your description:
"Many of their early/midd game tanks has thin unsloped armor."
50 mm for example was not thin, it's just unsloped. There is only one disadvantage here, not two of them at the same time. I know, I'm bitchy but what are the forums for...
I hope you won't get offended by this as I find this amazing. I think I could try to use that vids to convince some of my friends to this game.

Is part of Soviet Union's soundtrack from Red Alert?

I don't think that putting yellow hammer and sickle on the red background is appropriate. I don't know German law but in Poland for example (neighbourhood) it's forbidden to promote symbols of totalitarian governments.

I thought that Sherman's high profile is a myth. It's almost the same height as Panther and Tiger tanks and it's only 8% higher than Panzer IV series.

FYI to DMS, no worries, it's legal to mention it. This is not about censorship or indices but a GEMA contract Youtube refused, as you probably know. By "letting this bypass happen", only Youtube is responsible and "breaking the law". lol, so great to be in this country. I wonder if they'll introduce laws on how to eat banana's at one point in time, at the moment they're discussing if they want to force helmets upon bicyclists.
