[MOW:Vietnam][WIP]New missions

Update :

currently includes seven missions:



the first mission got helicopter & and few tanks and many troops
(in relation to original MOW:V).
You play on the U.S side , fighting against endless wave of Vietcong infantry
trying to capture a hill you defend ,and a enemy base to take down in other part of the map as well .

this mission was built on a slightly modified version of the original first map in the Vietcong campaign .

In the second mission you play on the US side , assisting and leading
assault on a village ,and dealing with other sort of nasty surprises .

If you always wondered if it's a good idea to use a flamethrower as
a weapon in the jungle ,this mission is for you...

third mission is a defensive map ,once again you play on the U.S side,
this time defending a base which is under heavy attack .

fourth mission starts with a river patrol but turns into a raid
on a village and later on big river fight .

here's the read me :

1. Extract inside MOW:Vietnam main folder .
(or drag the mods folder to MOW:Vietnam main folder .)

2.open C:\Documents and setting\%USERNAME%\My Documents\My Games\men of war:vietnam \profiles\player
backup and move the options.set file to other folder,and then replace it with the options.set
file that came in the zip .

3.open MOW:V go to select campaign and start playing.


If you all ready installed previous version of this mod,
repeat step one and confirm overwrite previous files in the mod folder.

Yes, hopefully more people will start to release mods to Vietnam soon .

I'm currently working on the second mission , this time I'm transforming one of the
original maps almost completely ,hopefully it will be ready in a few more days .

cool,let me know what you think BigFoot, this one is a bit more conventional mission ,
as opposed to the first one which was straight forward slaughter house were everything
happens at once .

Well, so far I like it! I needed to stop to take care of some business but I really like how the map looks after killing all the guards. Looking forward to playing it later..

Two more Vietnam missions have been released over on the sust3.de. I am translating the mission files to English now...

I have them translated, but it looks as though the creator used some soldiers from either MoW or MoWAS and did not include the textures for those soldiers.

Thanks, I just installed the new patch that came out. I think it fixes this problem, will check it out and get back..

Yes indeed, the new patch did the trick!

Patch fixes the following issues:

1. Synchronization of various versions in multiplayer

2. Campaign for USA available from the start

3. Errors in unit names fixed
