henk055, all you do, is to install the hotfix over the original 3.0 files (just drag the new campaign folder into your mods folder and let it overwrite any files it wants to overwrite) and then you´ve the newest DCG files installed.

Check your men of war assault squad folder and see if there is a file named 2.pat - if there aint such a file, you need to update/patch your game (if you have the Steam version, MoW:AS should be fully patched and if it isnt, then make sure that you do allow Steam to update your game automatically).

Hey i keep getting:
Error loading minimaps: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=6d5c3888ef60e27d' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
The thing is I have Microsoft XNA installed (up to date) and the other 2. I have read loads of posts but still cannot fix it.
I have windows 7 64bit (they are the correct 64bit installs)
So by the books (your instructions) everything should work
Please advise

Ditchy69: You need to install XNA v3.0 (or v3.1 would work, too, I think -- anyway use the link in the readme.txt)
We have noticed that even if you have the latest XNA installed, if you don't have v3.0 specifically installed it will not work.
Check that and let us know how it goes...

Yeah tried V3.0 and V3.1
Its really odd, because ive installed and uninstalled 3 times. and still has not worked lol.
Im trying not to get too worked up over it, so thats a bonus.
Probs a bit of a Conundrum on your part. Everything points the way it should be.
Cheers for reply

This is a mystery...
I have Windows 7 64 bit also. XNA 3.0 is definitely the correct XNA version. The correct .NET 2.0 install comes with the OS. http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums...9924.aspx#9924
You could try posting your settings.xml file here - maybe the XNA error is a red herring...

Just to be sure I uninstalled XNA again (I had 3.0 3.1 and another 4.0), and installed 3.0 again...still the same error message. I deleted DCG and followed instructions again...still no luck. My steam is on the C drive so it can't be that. I located the file locations through the Campaign setup.
It would have to be me with this annoying error odd error lol.
Tried looking for the setting.xml. Im probs being am ong as im not the most technically minded..where abouts is it located?
Cheers
