    Games you play!

So what other games are you guys playing?

I play Call of Duty 4, Civilization 4 and ofcourse most of the time Outfront 2 due to my work

Well for more games I don't find time except testing them.

I play my beloved Resident Evil/Silent Hill series, FoW (well, actually, i only work in editor. Cant remember when i actually started the game), and Hitman. Dunno, kinda felt the urge to strangle someone with fiber wire.

    There is, of course, CoD4

    Re: Games you play!

I liked Resident Evil, though I was too young when the series started , the Dreamcast version was definately the best! :P

Silent Hill, well, I just played it once for short time, or twice? Can't remember ...

Call of Duty 4 was fun, suprisingly nice made Singleplayer, although replay value is pretty low. Multiplayer I play once a time, but... I don't loose... somewhat frustrating, I also get pretty annoyed by that grenade launcher and suicide grenades. It's good for the gamedesigner that I don't know him...
3d sound is so important but the combination, silencer, silent running, no radar, fast action, is also terrible annoying, it's like playing against a superhero mutant hopping bunny.

Without that points I really enjoyed it, though MP lacks of maps and good players :P

    Neat idea!

    I play much games..
On pc i play Bf2(old pal), CoD4(getting bored of :S), FoW(mostly editor, some coop), Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific(a little), Crysis(completed but shall replay). But i've never liked mmorpg games cause almost all new of them has a price every month.. I'd love to play with you others in some games other then FoW..
    Waiting for: Mafia II, OutfrontII.

Otherwise i play Stuntman Ignition and Assassins Creed on ps3. I'm waiting for Burnout: Paradise to drop in price.. I think it's quite sick that the next gen console games have become 5£ more expensive.. But they are better though!
Looking forward to: GTA: IV, Final Fantasy XIII, The Getaway II.

    I indeed agree with you

CoD4 kinda isnt worth the money... But those 5 hours of campaign are fun.

I got hooked on survival horror when i was only 10. Can you imagine how it was for a 10 year old to tackle teh big bad Nemesis with a handgun and shotgun?

Gosh, i was scaaared a lot

    Re: Games you play!

Top favorite game all times... The old good Sid Meier´s Pirates! I think that I played this one for at least two years when it was first released on the Commodore C-64 (if any one else but me remembers that computer ).
And of course, Sid Meier´s Civilization and his later Colonization were a big hit when they´re released on the Amiga in the late 80´s and early 90´s.

Today, when I´m stuck with a PC, I tend to favor Far Cry and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. And of course, believe it or not, Faces of War... but just like HcrAk47, I tend to spend more time modding and mapping for it rather than playing it...

Call of Duty 4 was a big disappointment to me, just like Crysis. Nice gfx etc but not very fun nor do they have a very high replay value. Call of Duty and the later ones, up to Cod2 were excellent. Hasnt played Cod3 since I do not have a Xbox, Playstation etc. I´m eager for the release of Outfront 2, Far Cry 2 and of course, Brothers in Arms: Highway to Hell.

    Re: Games you play!

Oh, BF2 I really wished it being a good game, but EA modding policy and server hosting policy made me drop the game before I bought it.

Well, Crysis, it lies here around, but... , it was more forcing me to play, than playing at all
The only thing techincally wise that impressed me were the ingame movies, other than that I saw no wonders just a big budget. Gameplay wise..., it was close to be a very expensive game... and dead keyboard
Far Cry was a lot better, somewhat in everything, all things that went improved for Crysis were no addition to gameplay.
    MP, never touched.

I remember watching Alien one with 6-8 years, that was enough for me to be careful what playing and wachting in young years :P

I played Pirates, but either I was too young or I never really liked it that much.

I wasn't really interested in S.T.A.L.K.E.R., didn't play it and certainly won't. Just doesn't match my taste of games, although the story could have been very interesting.

    Re: Games you play!

I gotta agree with many of you the most big titles are bad.. Crysis - it actually was nice to play though, try it! but multiplayer was just annother quake 4 mp... same with Stalker, it had the "scary" feeling some times but the mp also were worthless there.. :/ I heard they are thinking of making a Stalker for mmorpg! O_o
I recommend to at least play single-player in these games, they give you 3-4 days of pure intresting features and fun!

Btw: I've also played the Silent hill series and resident evil, quite interesting and not fun in the night alone at home! The elder scrolls: Oblivion is probably my third most played game (in time), it's very addictive and contains magic and mideval age feeling, very good, i recommend this to all!
