    In the creek, I think the heavy tank rush that occurs when you capture all flags but the last is cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I spent ages capturing the flags, then I find I'm up against 8 or 9 KVs and IS-2s, there's not even any time to prepare, they just come out and start blasting everything.... my 2 King Tigers were destroyed, my 5 flak 88s, I was driven back and lost the 3 flags I just captured.

    I don't think that's fair!!! You should at least have a counter saying "3 mins til counterattack" IMHO so that defences can be prepared.

    Also, at the top right flag, troops can't easily climb the hill because of the invisible boundary. That is very very annoying, especially as the soviets can climb with ease.

    Yours very annoyedly after thinking he'd won the map and had it snatched away from him....

    Its is very important to have more than one line of defense. The Counterattack is very hard but I made it on heroic with just 3 88s a Kingtiger and an Elefant. Maybe you have choosen bad positions for your 88s.

    The top right flag near the boundary is conceived as a infantry vs tank situation. At the bottleneck between the hill and the mountain you can easily destroy the KVs you just need to cover your left flank with sandbags or you put eg a Panzer II or Wirbelwind on the base of the hill. It can't be attacked from the hill but you can kill the infantry coming from the left flank.

    I have (or should I say *had*) 2 Elefants, 2 KingTigers, a Veteran Tiger and 5 flak 88s, with 2 x Nebelwerfers on West and East sides. The flaks are on the hill overlooking the ruins of the house just in front of the last flag. May I say that my positions were pretty good, I had everything covered until the tank rush

    As the creator of the map, you have the advantage in knowing that the counterattack would come and what it would be composed of, and so know to draw your AT back a bit and rearm them just before capturing the 3rd line of defence, whereas I had no idea of the counterattack and no chance to save my game. Players will be frustrated, especially when they have fought so long to get the captures.

    I had no time to pull back my tanks to an area where their range would outgun the IS/2s. Those BT tanks and their mortars and the ZSU flak gun necessitate putting tanks close to the top middle flag of the 3rd line, as cover for the troops at the flags.

    You need to give the player time to reorganise and rearm his troops, IMHO.


    Also, the area on the far right. There's a hill, but I can't climb it even though there's nothing stopping me. Yet the Russians climb it with impunity. I realise it's for infantry vs AT battles but it's making a bad situation even worse when you have invisible barriers blocking you. I want to put a Panzerfaust team at the top of the hill with a captured MG but they have to take the long way
