The Creek is one of my favourite maps. Extremely well designed with lots of options. Love it.

damdam:
Are you sure that you have the latest (reworked) version of the maps?
There are no changes in 1.98.8 to 1.97.7 in the human skins.
I've tested France, Barbarossa V2 and Africa and everything is going well.

Hello!
After install your "Creek mission" in my mod folder, everything is ok, no technical problem for me!
Like Smokey82, this mission is one of my favorite too: pretty and realistic Map with a lot of details, relief and covers, numbered ennemies very well placed, lot of AT inf and guns, AI arty hidden in the trees..
Hat's off SirHinkel, i greatly appreciate your work: Each mission is better!
Continue to give us such good sp missions!
Regards.

@damdam:
You must re-downloading all the old maps. They did not work with 1.97.7 and 1.98.8.
That is why they have been revised.

Hi SirHinkel, I played Creek on hard difficulty and I like it so far. Some issues but nothing major.
Here's my feedback:
Issues:
1. Paratroopers cost more than the ZZ yet have the same weapons rating (3 stars). Also some paratroopers are armed with K98K rifle which is not the best rifle for the best troops. IMHO, for the extra points paras should be 4 star troops as they are the best of the best.
2. It seems to me that the map is designed especially for Paratroopers with flare guns, to take out the heavy gun emplacements. I think there should be more ways of taking them out, because if you don't want to use the flare gun, what options do you have, your troops will be slaughtered (unless you can keep the initial Panzer alive, which is pretty hard) . The flare guns kind of take away the sense of achievement for me, they are too easy.
3. Pak 40s get stuck in the stream going to "gunnery" flag (first flag at far right, next to lodge) unless they are towed.
4. There are no counterattacks until flags are captured. I had all the time in the world to prepare defences and I captured middle (tank) flag first then right hand (gunnery) flag and had plenty of time to set up my PAK 40's and 88s thereafter. I would like troops coming at me early before any flags are captured, maybe with light armoured vehicles, so I don't have time to settle in and get complacent.
5. The flamethrower trooper makes clearing the initial houses very easy. I just set em all on fire
6. I used a motor car to tow a Pak 40 up on hill to left of Church. Supply trucks can't get there without the player taking control. Possibly a pathing issue there or hill too steep.
7. Same with Flak 88 going to hill in front of Church. I tow the flak there and it covers a wide area. But supply trucks can't get to it. Just as well it has 150 shells for AP and heat or I'd be in trouble.
8. Pathing issue between lane going down hill at church and alley into village square to the right. Move a soldier to the church. Then issue an order to the soldier to go into the middle of the houses. He won't walk through the alley unless you direct control him.
8. MG emplacements, when captured, have only 1000 rounds. Add more rounds.
9. Only 1 sniper for me???
10. My troops with SMGs run out of ammo pretty fast, only enemy AT troops carry the SMG ammo, so is there a chance of more SMG carrying enemy to loot? I do notice some rifle men carry para ammo drop flares, so I can always use them....
What I like:
1. Attention to detail, the house in the middle where the star flag & mortar emplacement is, is nice, don't recall seeing that model before.
2. The generous allowance of ammo for tanks and AT. Brilliant. No supply trucks needed for ages.
3. Burning out the red guard troops in the houses with a flamethrower is fun. But, the flamethrower guy becomes redundant after you take the houses early on, then there's no need for him, which is a shame.
4. Elefant. First time I've used this bad boy, had such fun with it, shells just bounce off it!!! It is a beast! The "keep turning for no reason and run out of gas" issue annoys me but hey ho.
5. Hidden guns keeping you occupied.
6. The IS/2 !!! Didn't expect it to be so strong.
7. General map feel, I don't recall playing a map like this, putting an 88 by the church and letting it blast everything is strangely satisfying.....
So, keep up the good work
