    Hello SirHinkel
I have Alamo with the new patch v2. 12 05 played and found no problem.
Still, I have an update from each Patchversion.
I have seen all the links you have disconnected.
Can I help you? Where is the problem?

Thanks for another great skirmish and map........

The detail level of this map and your eye for detail make this a feast for the eyes and a thoroughly enjoyable playing experience..

I played with latest patch 2.05 and latest version of bmmod and it was a visual spectacular.....

I suggest you have a look at latest bmmod SirHinkel - improves the game play (IMHO anyway )

Cool, I would just ask CTS if you can use his mod,

He has allready said modders can use his mod as long as he is credited for the bmmod.... Which is only fair IMHO....

I would strongly suggest ALL MOW:AS player check out Beachhead and BMMOD also... They will both change you opinions of MOW:AS as far as visuals are concerned......

    Kudos to SirHinkel..

Personally, I didn't really notice the BMMOD. I didn't quite like the pacific map too. Too many awkward bumps in the terrain make it difficult to figure out what my soldiers can see and shoot at. I ran my marines straight up to an enemy trench and it took me a while to figure out why they were not firing at the soldiers inside.

    This is war.
You need to find a way to win the battle.
That is not to shoot discs.

Have you ever heard of a strange word called reconnaissance, You will have to adapt and evolve your tactics...
(Rambo tactics are suicidal in MOW:AS and rarely work )

Before you start an attack ask yourself " Self: How would real world soldiers do it ??" and adapt your tactics from there...

In afganistan or iraq do you really thing a whole american squad would approach enemy positions without some scouting (recon) first..

Those akward bumps in the terrain are called cover and its quite common in the real the world and there for a reason.. (LOL)

Next you will be saying there are too many trees... (LOL)

No offence intended I just find it funny that some people who play war rts games are not using military tactics to help them win the game...

Maybe the forum needs a NOOBS FAQ on basic infantry tactics ?????

Don't underestimate the use of Flame Throwers to clear fortifications and trenches with minimal risk to your men......
