@Inuki - if your with Virgin Media, they are upgrading the internet packages to double, but you don't get charged more, but i'd say don't upgrade it yourself, as 10mb is already overpowered with VM if you have that (unless your area gives you bad connection).

Also if you have video monetization enabled on youtube (bit harder for gaming videos), you can now get youtube partnership rather easy now, which is more money in your pocket.

I have a 30mb connection (3mb upload / 30mb down). a 10mb connection gives you 1mb upload which would be enough to stream something around 480p at a bad bitrate until you get throttled and then you wouldn't be able to stream at all....

3mb upload is 720p at 2000 bit rate....until you get throttled down to less than 1mb upload.


They are upgrading 30mb to 60mb from "June onwards". Yes...it ****ing says "June onwards". Which means....any time after June =| Which is a coincidence because my Birthday and Christmas and all the days of the week are from "June onwards"


If I upgrade to a 50mb connection then I'll go up to 100mb. 10mb upload. 1080p quality and no problem if I get throttled. Uploading to youtube would also be much faster which means I can get better sleeps.

do you use outside hardware to capture and then stream because doing it all on same machine would definitely put gaming performance at risk

twitch/justin deletes recorded broadcasts automatically 7 days after unless owner selects some specifically to "save forever".

But you right I noticed even yesterdays games are deleted I wanted to see some of the beginning of that large battle from yesterday but its all gone, maybe some will be uploaded to youtube?

oof. I got rid of it last time I was testing something. I didn't realise Twitch auto deleted after 7 days. I'll keep em up from now on. The reason I delete them is in case of any copyright content. I've been banned from Twitch twice randomly. I'm not sure if it was a bug or not. Scary stuff though.
