Faces of War - Need an Assist

If anyone is familiar with this game please read.



I'm now on the German mission Dinant, I think I'm experiencing a bug that stops me completing this mission.

Basically, there is supposed to be a contact who tells you about the detonator in the building at the bridge, he gives you a radio. According to a walkthrough there should be a cutscene and this happens after you cross the ice on the river. I can't get this guy to appear, so either it's bugged or I'm not able to trigger this event for some reason. Am I doing something wrong here?

Anyway, I killed everyone, played the entire mission twice, tried numerous reloads. Now I just want to move to the last level in this campaign but I can't.

There is a cheat to unlock all missions but I haven't got the foggiest how to install it. There is no readme. I've googled for more info. I've randomly placed the unziped files in different folders.

Anyone who knows how to install this "unlock all missions" cheat please let me know. Thank you.

If I remember correctly you have to re-place the game_progress.set file inside MyDocuments\my games\faces of war\profiles\yourprofile with the one contained in the "unlock all missions" cheat.

There are four files and I don't see any a profile folder. I'll try creating one and see what happens.

It was ages ago since I last played this mission in Faces of War, but I was always able to finish the mission without any major problems.

Did you capture the first radio hut (on the first hill)? You need to hold that one for a short time and let a guy use the radio inside (or something similar). Then at the bridge you need to capture the house with the radio inside. When this is done, the German Panzers will start moving and you take command of these and need to arrive to the guys inside the house within a set amount of time.

Then if I remember it correctly, a cut scene should appear and the mission is soon over (but as I said, it was ages since I last played this mission).
