I have to agree with a certain someone. We really need more larger maps than we do smaller. Theres a single 8v8 map!

Maps are maps. You can have a lot of them. But having a lot of the same types of map is also bad. I understand its a safe bet to have a general rule of thumb but it shouldn't stop you making something much different. A lot of the maps we have now are great maps but the majority of them are open field type maps. I'm killing for some of the skirmish maps to be in multiplayer. Although...they would probably lag =)

Still. Nice to have the option. Variety is best <3 Also I really hope theres some sort of replay / observer system in this DLC omnomnomnomn

Every 8v8 map is one to much. They have zero use for competition, and for pub play it's even worse due to the odds of someone dropping in the first 10 mins being like 120%.

There's a way more severe lack of properly functioning 3v3 maps, and the last thing we need is another derpmap like desert walk.

Well, it is a map contest in which anyone can take part so why don´t join in and make a map and actually show us how a map shall look like?

Just because some of us doesnt like 8vs8 map, I´m pretty sure that there are others who love them. Taste is like a certain part of your body, i.e. divided.

me and three of my friends only play 6v6, 5v5 or 8v8. We play Combat with around 5000mp. We need big maps to flank german super heavy. I would suggest to atleast add one new map either 6v6 or 8v8 to meet the needs of some of the players.

Ofcourse i would also like some balanced 4v4 where there is actual room to flank, but generally speaking the bigger the better. More players, more chaos.

Much more maps would just make everybody happy im sure

Have tried using the editor a few times, but it just crash on my PC too much.

Insticnt, are we allowed to from a 2 person team, one does main mapping and other codes the gamemodes and does some minor edits. Would i still get some credit, and the main mapper get the entire reward?

Can we add some trigger magic or should we stick with the basic stuff?

Great contest and I bet this should inspire some more mapping among the community.
Consider me jumping on the wagon, I'll get right to the mapping when I have some spare time
