The StuH 42 - what is it good for?

It would be nice to have an infantry gun like the US M8, wouldn't this be a nice alternative? (forgive me if this is a re-post of someone else's idea)

The M8 is in place of a Veteran Sniper. Veteran Sniper is the best stealth unit in the game and has 4 star proficiency with any weapon. Plus, Americans have the 105. The Stuh just needs more attention.

It recently obtained more attention. Now people just have to work it into a matchup.

Now it has 160 range with the HE, not bad if you consider that this out ranges most AT guns. Also remember that the Stuh is 25 Cp, the other 14 CP are occupied by the 4 panzergrenadier. 25 cp for that tank are reasonable.

The four pg could actually supply lock but w/e.

The accuracy is the same, accuracy curve 1 at r 0.80. The same as an Hetzer.

Before posting here again, I wanted to employ the Sturm-Haubitze for extensively in battle since the patch and Triumph's statement.

Something has been done, it feels to be performing quite well for its role in fighting static emplacements now. It has more range and looks to be more accurate than before. Seriously, it has been a change to the better and I thank both the community and Triumph for the communication and Instinct for the attention in that matter.

Then don't drive her in LOF of that IS / Pershing / Cent. The StuH 42 has 80mm armor at the front but should never be under direct fire. Keep it behind hills and slopes, it can still fire from there!

Not a fan of the StuH really, they share the flaw of the M8 in that it has slow reload and cross-eyed gunner but you can't even spam a few StuH's like the M8 to make up for it, i'd rather spend my hero points on a Radio Op and other such Wizardry, granted the Radio Op isn't sporting 80mm of plate armour but he doesn't need it, is more stealthy, and creates a larger explosion which is always pretty.
