2 news Mp maps 5v5 - Normandy theme

Hello!

I'm working on new German skirmish missions and I've already created 2 big Mp maps (5v5).
This 2 maps are ok to play Mp on Battle zone, Capture flag and combat modes.
(I'm working on their frontline versions and i will edit the post when i'll finish, with pics)

The historical context is the Normandy, in june 1944, just after the DDay:

1/ Russy: A little village, in the Normandy bocage, with a lot of bushes, at 20kms south of Omaha beach. It's a good map for infantry, with a lot of possibilities of ambush..
(note that because of a lot of bushes and tree, i recommand to have a good PC and/or a good connexion to play with this map)

2/ Brettevillette: a little village, situated at 8kms East of Caen, which was the theater of the firsts fight of the 2nd Panzer div. "Das Reich", against the scottishs on 28 june 1944.
(Map optimised in polygons and objects, ok with a low pc/bad connexion).
I've done the exact map of this village myself, and constructed it with the import of the real heightmap of the zone from google earth (see my tutorial in general modding forum).

I work on a total of 6 missions on the same historical theme of Normandy, following the 2nd Panzer Div. majors fights against both US and UK units, so 4 others missions (and maps) will come in few weeks..

Took a quick look. Your spawn points and flag zones for BZ don't grok. Check out the DMS maps, look at how they work and design accordingly. Also, don't punish players be having trees and fences in their face as they spawn.
Nice green remake of fields you got there.

Hello!

Here is some pics of my work.

"Russy" is my first Map work, effectively based on the 5v5 Map "Fields". (Found in DCG , I've ask to use it to Ngevede that told me this map is a Mowv DMS map and it's possible to modify it for MowAS).

I've change a lot of things on it (objects, textures etc..), to try to re-create the Normandy Bocage on it, that why there is so much bushes (to ambush heavy..)

Note also that the pics are taken in my skirmish missions, and you will not have the flags and other stuff on the map alone.

This map is my own work, based on a real google earth 3D heightmap, and i tryed to place the house as it is in real (with some interpretations for the game play but I think the final Map is near the reality):























I had a look on the the DMS maps and I've found my errors: fixed now and i edited my first post with the last versions.
