    I was about to ask that.. since it does appear at the bottom... what your resolution was? Low resolutions don't allow you to see the full menu.

    @CheekySp & Depulsor:
    If you are seeing something about "game.pak" that means that you do not have the patch files installed successfully.

    Specifically, it means you still have the Settings.xml for the original game and not the new version in the AS patch.

    Check that you have extracted the patch in the same folder as DCG. It should prompt you to overwrite a few files. Check to make sure the files are actually overwritten. You may manually copy and overwrite the files into the folder if the extractor is failing to overwrite them somehow.

    ps I have russian version of AS

    Damn on resolution 1024x 768 it actually not possible to see DCG button
    Finaly I found it on 1600X900 on skrimish where nations select
    Looks like I've got the same problem but I can't switch to 1600 because my display doesnt allow this high resolution. My highest resolution I can set is 1366. So maybe someone could bring out a patch where the button is somewhere else

    Re: [Release] Dynamic Campaign Generator 2.5 and MoW:AS Upgr

    Jason you're right, it helped.

    Regarding the mod itself:
    Unfortunately the gameplay is still broken.
    I do respect the idea and effort put into the project, however, it seems that the bugs still overweight the pros.

    For example:
    I find my howitzers and vehicles stuck inside a buildings at the start all the time. Basically, if the map is town, I can always be sure that one of my vehicles is stuck somewhere.

    Sometimes I find myself fighting a whole batallion of guys armed with only radios. How's that for a thrill?
    To add some extra flavor to the insult, sometimes they drive Refuellers. Oh, the horrors of war!

    The maps are always aligned wrong, no matter what mission I play. So if a map is horizontally stretched, I attack or defend vertically, from south to north or vice versa - you can imagine the pleasure.

    I think that seeing the addition of the large strategic map to MoW (making it a bit like Total War series) is a dream of every fan of this game.
    However, this mod is still far from it.

    Re: [Release] Dynamic Campaign Generator 2.5 and MoW:AS Upgr

    I have used DCG from MoW a long time...

    My question is... does DCG now use the skirmish game mode that MoW:AS uses?

    If not, are there plans to incorporate it? Basically it is near similar...

    Also... have you considered adding a better GUI or front end to the DCG?
    (Like a world globe that then zooms to show the battle and where the map is on the world, as example?)

    Re: [Release] Dynamic Campaign Generator 2.5 and MoW:AS Upgr

    Don't forget CheekySp, that this is still a very basic version of DCG.. a beta if you will. The full version has many many more maps, units, vehicles, infantry, skins weapons... etc.

    The vehicles spawning in buildings is from the lack of care full positioning of units during the deployment phase. It can be done so that units don't start in buildings.

    The amount of radiomen that spawn is also something that can be easily adjusted or turned off in the settings xml.

    And the way you attack the map is the direction it'll be played. If you don't want to play that map sideways then attack it from the north or south.

    Most of the "bugs" you described are really points of learning how to play DCG. Do remember that this is just a taste of one of the greatest mods from MoW.

    @Prowlinger

    DCG is not the skirmish. That just happens to be where the button goes to play the mission. They are not similar either.

    Skirmish is built like MP... with the economy and purchasing units in game. Also in DCG you don't face pre-made maps with set locations for enemy and defenses. Nor do you face endless waves of enemy units. Also you can't keep your units after you finish skirmish nor can they rank up after battles.

    There are quite a few differences and that is why I prefer DCG.

    I admit it would be nice to have something like your example in the DCG program but I'm sure it would take quite a bit of work to make it interactive and with the teams limited time and resources, we'll continue to focus our efforts into gameplay & more units.
