Looking forward to this patch, looks good. Hopefully some of the stability issues are addressed aswell.

Why not? Warfare is sickening: if we wan't the game to feel somewhat realistic, why should the damage on corpses be censored? I mean, if destruction of buildings is modelled realistically why should the bodies remain intact? Atleast I find myself blowing enemy sniper, radio op and other valuable corpses into pieces quite often, if there is a danger of their valuable belongings falling into enemy hands. If the body really blew up instead of just vanishing, I'd be very happy
. Currently this animation is just missing.
I lost my manhood years ago. I don't really know what keeps me going anymore.

But this thing kinda is already in the game, just the appropriate animation is missing. Looks kinda funny, since the weapon and helmet are flying but the actual soldier vanishes in an instant.
And I'm not talking about adding these effects on normal weapons, rather heavy artillery and light AA-guns. I've tried some mods, but they took it too far: SMG:s and LMG:s ripping people apart isn't what I'm after. Anyways, if gibbing was added, I'm sure it could also be made optional very easily.
PS. Don't stigmatize me as an gore lover
. If used realistically it can be an effective reminder of how horrifying wounds some weapons really inflicted. Realistic weapons behavioir is a thing this game is largely built on, so realistic impact effects on the receiving end - even if it was a rifleman instead of a wall or tank - should be modelled in it. Torture for example isn't really comparable cos the game doesn't really have anything to do with the causes leading to it.

Client side animation DLC A-go-go! Purchase this for EXTRA DEATH! Just don't sell it in Germany or Aussie land.
If infantry have hard points then that should be represented in a game some how but they don't and it is fine. Chill.

I really love all the headgear upgrades to their model, old ones used to be too small and clip through some heads such as spetnaz. Now they seem more like what was used in condemned heroes, they are larger and look way better, great job!
I expect localization update shortly since localization for new units and their ammo/gun is missing along with cromwell VI having incorrect one(i think). But thats easy to fix. Headgear fixed/upgrades itself make me very happy!/ Skirmish Missions by DJSatane * DJSatane's Twitch Channel \

Noticing some errors like the mobile panzerwerfer only comes with one guy and you cant drive it or anything until you add a crew.
German new special units are named ???heronew_2german ???heronew_3german ect

Confirmed panzerwerfer comes in without crew when ordered in mp games.
Also noticed that humanskin "ger-squadleader" was removed, its no big deal except for some missions that were made in mods not sure what will happen, since that skin was in the game before patch and now its not it seems.
Its no biggie though I am sure this is kinda of a playtest patch through steam considering localization wasnt even added and in few days weill get another patch which will also end up being patch for retail non steam version.Last edited by djsatane; 18-06-2012 at 19:57.
