    General Overview:
This modification is focused on the Italians during the World War 2.
This modification tries to portrait the very complex historical, social and political events that have belonged the to Italian Nation during the World War 2.

Infantry has been sub-divided in three pseudo-factions.
From 1940 to 1943 we have the Regio Esercito Italiano (R.E.I.); from 1943 al 1945 we have the Repubblica Sociale Italiana (R.S.I.), accompanied, from 1944 to 1945, by the Esercito Cobelligerante Italiano and the Brigate Partigiane, that fought the war of Liberation against the fascism.
In this way we hope to represent in the better way all the people that have fought for Italy during the World War 2, without dinstintion for their political, ideological, social and religious beliefs.

The Regio Esercito Italiano includes great part of the units that have fought on the different fronts opened by Mussolini, beginning from the classical infantry units like Alpini of the Julia Division, Bersaglieri, “M” Battalions, Coastlines Brigade, Carabinieri, Granatieri of Sardinia, Pasubio Brigade, regiments of the Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale (MSVN, ie the Black Shirts), Cacciatori of Albania, Savoia Cavalleria, 10th Arditi, Zara Regiment and some units of the special forces of A.D.R.A. (Arditi Distruttori Regia Areonautica).
Units assigned to special duties are included too: like transmissions, mortarmen, flamethrowers, support machinegunners, antitank infantry, combat engineers, tankmen of the Ariete Armored Division.

Great space has also been granted to the African war theater, with Bersaglieri, Alpini, Black Shirts and Young Fascist, Carabinieri Reali (CCRR), and all infantry Divisions like the Cirene, Marmarica, Sirte, and Tunisia ones.
The Polizia Africana Italiana (P.A.I.) and troops of the Regio Corpo Truppe Coloniali, composed by native person, portrait the Italian Colonial experience that ends with the defeat in the war.
All units wear the colonial uniforms.

The reconstruction of the units has rigorously been sifted through studies and historical researches, as regards body equipments, uniforms, and badges.
A very maniac research has been conducted in the reconstruction of the accoutrements (ie the military equipments). We have reproduced 36 models of accoutrements and 87 headgears composed by helmets, pith helmets, berets, alpine hats and much more.

Individual weapons has been reproduced with great attentions, with the addition of all weapons in endowment to Italian Army from 1940 to 1945, beginning from the machineguns like the Breda Mod.30 and Mod.37; all the variant of the Carcano bolt-action rifle; submachineguns like the Moschetto Automatico Beretta, also know as MAB in the version M1938a and M1942, FNAB 43 and TZ-45; many pistols like Beretta M34 and M35, Glisenti M10, a revolver, the Bodeo M1889.
We have created the entire range of offensive hand grenade of the Mod.35 family: the Breda35, the OTO35 and the SRCM35. We have reproduced an antitank grenade like the Breda Mod.42, an incendiary grenade like the OTO Mod.42 and a new smoke grenade too: the C.C.M.34
A new knife for italian troops has also been created.

For the first time in the series we have successfully created new alternative working version of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines: the B-4 and the Four Igniter.

We added support weapons like the 81mm mortar Mod.35, the light mortar 45mm Brixia Mod.35 and the antitank rifle Panzerbüchse 35(p), coming from the allied German.

Attention was dedicated to the artillery too. There are two new pieces: the light howitzer da 75/18 Mod.34 and the antitank field gun da 75/32 Mod.37
As towing units for those cannons we use many versions of the light truck FIAT 618C.
There is an ambulance version too.

Another news in the game is the Guzzi Sa500 Motorcycle, largely used by Italian troops in Nort Africa.

Armored vehicles has been added too, like the AB41 (in a revised version), the L6-40, the M13/40, M14/41, and M15/42.
Every vehicles could be "dressed" with 3 up to 5 new paint schemes.

In 1943 Italians were preparing an armored division with German equipment, the 134th Armored Division M, which consisted in 12 Panzer IV Ausf.G; 12 PzKpfw III Ausf.N; 12 StuG III Ausf.G and 24 Flak88.
Due to the complex events of the period (arrest of Mussolini, the armistice, the declaration of war against Germany, the German occupation of the Peninsula), this vehicles has never seen the battlefields in Italian hands.
However we have decided to create the relative paint schemes for this unknow piece of history.

We have prepared paint schemes for vehicles of war prey too. Meticulously following the historical and photographic sources we have created the skins for the followings vehicles: the Russian BT-7, T34/76, T60 and T70, the British Cruiser MkI(A9).

Naval vessels was introduced from Red Tide too. The midget submarine Caproni CB, MAS boat and the explosive motorboat MTM. Together with the Navigatori Class destroyers from vanilla MoW, we can provide a very nice fleet.

The Italian Social Republic (RSI), was a puppet state of the Nazi Germany, in North Italy. In its line you will find units of the Italian Air Forces faithful to Mussolini, like the Nembo Parachute Division, seamen of the famous Xa Flottiglia MAS and troops of the 29th Division "Italien". There are troops of the Guardia Nazionale Repubblicana (GNR), of the Alpine Monterosa Division, Bersaglieri of the Italia Division, elements of the paramilitary groups of Brigate Nere, mostly used in anti-partisan role.

The Esercito Cobelligerante Italiano is represented by all the Gruppi di Combattimento (fithing corps) that have actively co-operated with the Allies, to make free the Peninsula from the Nazi-fascism. They were the GdC Legnano, GdC Friuli, GdC Cremona, GdC Mantova, GdC Folgore and GdC Piceno.

We have wanted to dedicate a space to the Partisan forces that have fought the liberation war behind the enemy lines. Unfortunately we cannot depict the very large ideological and social line up of every single group of the Italian Resistance movement, so we have chosen in representation of everybody one of it: the Communist Brigade "Garibaldi".

All the voices in this mod have a native Italian voice actor.
