Re: PMP: The Canal (MOW / MOW AS) (4v4 players) (download so
Woah cat I love you ^^
I hope your mappack will contain awesome maps like this one ( and lots of maps ^^)
I'd love to see destroyed german cities like berlin and the alpenfestung would be also cool.
Also how did u make the map playable for AS ?

Re: PMP: The Canal (MOW / MOW AS) (4v4 players) (download so
Battle_zones missions work by default as Assault_zones ones. And all models and textures from mow appear to work in AS too. Only the weather I had to pack with the installer, because i used custom ones.
Large city maps are a bit problematic. Because even one single completely destructible house has probably hundreds of parts. The advantage of these north african town buildings is that most are indestructible. For example my pc can barely run maps like "town" because of all the buildings. So making a destructible dense city scape might be too much for a medium PC:BaseRespawn blog (MOWAS tank combat guide):http://baserespawn.blogspot.com

Some dramatic screens from the latest internal playtest. Apart from a few little fixes, the map works as intended, and I will release it soon.BaseRespawn blog (MOWAS tank combat guide):http://baserespawn.blogspot.com

Map looks great. Could I suggest you some trees along the canal?

Re: PMP: The Canal (MOW / MOW AS)
Thx. Actually took me less than 2 weeks for the entire map. I am sort of used to these heightmap based engines, therefore there was not much difficulty getting used to the editor.
Also...
Going to release today if I get some weather file desync error sorted out.BaseRespawn blog (MOWAS tank combat guide):http://baserespawn.blogspot.com
