    Its a mod that uses the same principal as Day of Defeat.
    The players can only 1 soldier, and with having a 8vs8 match would make this sound kinda funny.
    It has 2 maps that resemblance the Day of Defeat maps with the same names and have new high quality weapons.

    Looks nice to be honest, and I'm gonna try this out.

    I think that the mod is serious & well-made, but doesn't fit as a mod for a strategy game to be honest. Now, if you made it squad-based, I think that would be a more sensible and pragmatic approach (esp. considering you won't get as much people into a game of Men of War as you will in a Day of Defeat server, and Men of War's aiming for infantry isn't all that great when compared to that of an FPS). But this is of course just my opinion on it and it is up entirely to you, and it is also worth mentioning that I prefer big battles & I'm not so much of a Day of Defeat fan besides that.

    After a 40min 3vs3 game we came up with some stuff that would make the game better. ( For some of us)

    • Enemy not visible on minimap[/*:m:1y7y50zj]
    • Longer ranges[/*:m:1y7y50zj]
    • Skins that looks like DoD[/*:m:1y7y50zj]
    • A bit off-game, but more weapons[/*:m:1y7y50zj]



    Was very funny, even tho some used aimbot, and not direct control.

    Not showing enemies on the minimap is relatively easy. You should also decrease the spawnprotection time in my opinion and/or push spawns further back (played on the map donner, by the way).

    The spawnprotection time you can adjust in the combat.set and battle_zones.set at least. I'm afraid I have forgotten where to make enemies invisible on the minimap, though, but you can find out how to in the general mod discussion subforum at least.

    The removing enemies on minimap is done in the localization files if I remember correctly.
    There is a DCG minimod doing this.

    This mod contains a number of assets from FH2 without permission, namely the M1 Garand, BAR, Panzershreck. See:

    Hi,
    1) Mod for Men of War to forget about it it is not necessary. And for you not the competitor
    2) Permission? We do not use mod in commercial objective.
    Where to take the permission?
    In ReadMe, I have not noticed anything about that to use models in other games.
    3) Please excuse, for usage of your models.
