Soldiers Heroes of WW2 Cant Shoot

    Hi

I am running Soldiers under Vista 64 bit (have also tried it on my 32 bit machine) and have patched / set compatability mode / run as administrator and have gotten the game working. My problem is that when using anything other than a grenade the target reticule does not turn red which means I cannot get my guys to shoot at the enemy. I have to rely on them firing at will.

Does anyone have any suggestions with this problem?

Could you post a picture with the reticle?
From what I know, when you shoot with the rifle the target reticle it's little and black...not red.
It's this happening and in direct control?

Hmmn ok then, perhaps my guys are just acting stupid - I would target a vehicle with the antitank weapon and he would get up and run over to it.

With AT grenade your cursor is red, if you use other weapon no throwable your cursor is black
