sorry for not replying but i've been happy these past few days, the reason is, is because i've fixed my technical issue, the missing roads and train tracks thing.
I remembered about an ENB series plug-in that gave better visuals for this game, so i found it and tried it, didn't work, but on the download page it was on, at the top of the download page there was a new plug-in, dx8_to_dx9_converter, which makes games render with DX9 instead of DX8.
I downloaded it, placed it into the game directory, launched the game and it was fixed, i can now see roads and train tracks, plus everything else missing before, seems the game had problems rendering with DX8.
So now this is fixed, it seems i can now do maps/missions again properly with the fixing.

I'm working on this mod through to next week now i've got time, once i've fixed all the bugs and a few other things, it will be ready for release.
i'm posting the changelog on Page 1, so you can keep upto date with all the fixes/changes as i go along.

Starting from today till about when i release V1.2 or later, i'm asking for your suggestions/ideas on storylines for the German and Russian campaigns.
You can say anything you want, like what type of levels there will be, for example: infantry charges, tank battles, defensive maps and infantry only. How many men you play with (i'd recommend 3-4, highest eight) and what their names are. You'll also need to make the story of these guys, where they start, what they go through and where do they finally end, like in the UK campaign where you play as PoW soldiers (or ex-PoW) trying to get to a place where they can be rescued.
You can do a story for both campaigns if you like, or just for one side. The ones that i like the sound of, i'll put in a post and then you can decide which you think is a good one, once one has been clearly liked i'll get it put into motion.
This is a post to get community involvement in this mod, you can scream at me if it sucks.

Great idea General and I will try to come back with some suggestions.
Generally I enjoy at most levels where I have 4-6 soldiers which have to infiltrate something and probably can get hold of some tanks to fight against others. One of the challenging mods i've ever played (before 2pz-mod) was "Pobeg2.0.15" which you can find at Dilust's Soldiers and Fow mods collection and I think new levels should be like this.
I do not like defensive maps, or maps where you have time limits to fullfill a goal as they don't allow me to search for hidden objects which I also like very much -> I always investigate every dead enemy, vehicle and crates and hope to find new equipment and weapons

Werny, you have good likes and dislikes, but remember to add some things which you may not like aswell, as someone else would like them but may not like what you like, so for example, you don't like defensive or timed missions, but someone around the corner would love them to pieces but hate infiltration missions.
I'm trying to keep some variety with stuff i create, so theres some balance and something for everyone. I also do that searching thing you do, find something thats useful like a rocket launcher, or some anti-tank grenades so i'm prepared for occasions.
Looking forward to your suggestions.

I've been a Moderator since the end of 2010
which was when i did that LVT-4 for you. 
You mean SHoWW2, the forums for that game were put into the MoW forum just last week, which is really saddening, would've been better if it got a sub-forum within the MoW forum.
And which mission, the UK or US? if you did UK i've made the prison mission a tiny bit more populated with enemies, which makes it slightly harder but still easy.
