    The ability for your mortar crew to "attack ground" without direct control mode, instead of just visible targets so they can create a spread of bombardments across a certain area.

    CORRECTION: There is an attack ground command within the 3rd tab on the right, but it is well hidden from someone playing and there is no hot key. It does the effect I am speaking of, just needs to be of easier access.

    It's defenitaly the way how mortars should work. Point aiming of mortars is not only annyoing, it also changes the sence of those weapons. Well, lets see...

    There are tons of things you can put in these games, hard to think of what. The things i will bring up in this post is what i want for single player for the first.

    New terrains and battles, North Africa is the most wanted by me. Bigger maps?, for planefighting and seabattles.
    Improvement of plane control (very hard to stear planes) and fix the problem when you are direct controlling planes and when they fly outside map, the game crashes. Some options for the single player missions that would be amount of time, or what soldiers you want to fight with, choose thier equipment and clothes in the beginning and maybe choose vehicles to. That would mean that you got an certain amount of "money or career points" that could be used to "purchase" units and equipment.

    Remove lag from when you shoot or crush buildings, it takes forever when the lag starts (yes i have a very good computer, 2gb ram, 7950gt & core2 duo e6400 and still it laggs ). An very irritating lag issue, the time when your tanks ram wrecks from other tanks, it laggs like insane!

    Many more campains, maybe takes time, but i can't stop play these campains! Longer campains, harder, "mind maps" (You have to think out what tactics is needed to kill the enemy, from behind, side?). More fighting against Germany and Italy, more of their vehicles and soldiers. More cool tank and truck engine sounds.

    And as TTorpedo said: "A skirmisher with options to limit reinforcements/ type of units"
    Then you wouldn't be able to stop play fow. Random missions and maps with a mission/map generator that works extremly good.

    More types of camoflague to all soldiers, more skins to vehicles to. More diffrent buildings, the maps should not contain more then three of the same building. Ability to tow damaged or destroyed vehicles, tanks and cannons with tanks and trucks (civilian vehicles included). Annother thought would also be that you can tow away things that lay in the way, like a fallen wall or exploded tank, or simply plow it away with a plow.

    Something that would be useful would be to make the battlefield more realistic by setting in more civilian vehicles. Maybe just parked or crashed, the main point is that you can use them for transport and towing and repairing them ( they would be cars, trucks and motorbikes & police, fire department and ambulance).

    Vehicle requests:

    - As S4S4 said; "German vehicles: Fully transportable Flak 88 with his own 4 wheels"
    That is something that really must be in a strategy game, please make it happen. This is a monster cannon that you always want to tow after you, it can blow up everything!
    - The Churchill crocodile, a Churchill tank with flamethrower and a little wagon after. I want this cause there aren't so many flametanks in fow today.
    - The Elephant, The Tankdestroyer, very good looking beast This is my favorite tank, and it's very powerfull, i think i saw some picture on it before fow was released, was i right?
    - Repair trucks, the would be able to change tires or caterpillar on tanks so they could go on to fight. Or have tires and extra stuff in a huge inventory so the soldiers could go and repair them themselves.
    - Plows, would be used to dig trenches and dig down tanks (for extra cover). This would be realistic i think, harder to hit them and fun for your self to get a new way of building up a defence.
    - Cranes on caterpillar that would be used to demolish houses or clear roads, and load vehicles onto trains maybe?
    - Trains This category should be expanded, larger maps for the trains and more diffrent trains. Transportation of tanks and other vehicles on the trains. More armoured trains, especially those german ones. But i also heard that the german armoured car can drive on railroad, could that be done?
    - Trucks with caterpillar that were used in North Africa, towing cannons.



    Please ask me if i made something "unclear". I would love to come with more suggestions if i may

    Something I'd like to be changed and open for modding (maybe is, but I haven't found any way to alter it) is the time between shots for different distances to the target. I have severe trouble with the AI very quickly using up the limited ammo in the drum-fed MG-42s since each drum only holds 50 rounds and the machinegun shoots 20 rounds a second. If I could force them to shoot less at longer ranges it would be very nice. If this could be a parameter specific for each weapon I'd be in heaven!

    I'd also like to see the heavy artillery removed from the game (other than as static or direct fire objects) and replaced by off-map on call artillery barrages and airstrikes. At the moment it is just completely stupid with the heavy howitzers and stuff in the game, lobbing rounds over roofs and stuff like they were a weak catapult throwing bombs.

    Another thing I'd love would be rifle grenades to add some extra firepower to basic rifle units.

    Also please increase the speed of bazooka rockets. At the moment you can evade them with a vehicle when you see the shot since they fly so slow

    The possibility to force your troops down under cover. No peeking over walls and no looking out windows. Simply to keep their head down. Either to ambush or to save their asses from possible lucky hits from that machinegun spraying shots at them.

    Simulate shrapnel from he weapons. A random value included for damage calculations together with the distance from the center of impact for the shell.

    And I feel like repeating what another person said: Durable covers.

    Things are wasted ridicously fast at the moment. Especially with AP-ammo.
    Some things go *poof* in a single shot like the piles of hay and so on. I dunno if it can be reworked well to stand against shots but not explosions or getting drived over, but that's up to you guys.


    Another great request that I have, and tried to mod but in vain, is to make gun barrels solid objects. It would bring a new dimension of the game if you suddenly find your tank flanked by enemy AT weapons, but objects in the way of the cannon on the tank so you can't just turn your turret and shoot back. Especially for dense woods or in city environments could this make a huge difference.
