Re: 3ds Max Exporter tools
The structure is OK. Just bind the tracers to the wheels.
Have you checked the pivot centers?

Re: 3ds Max Exporter tools
Cromtec, have you got a program wich I could set up contact with you and send my model to you? Of course I add credit, and really thank you for it. If not it isn't a big problem but it would be good that I know what I didn't do correctly in my model.
PS.:Anyway thank you for all your help Cromtec!

I'll have a look at it and fix it if possible.
You can password protect the package and contact me via PM for the details.
Alternatively I can set up a temporary FTP account. PM for details.

Re: 3ds Max Exporter tools
Just noticed that Cromtec´s excellent tutorial on 3ds Max hasnt got any working links any longer --- will this one be added again or is it lost in cyberspace?
~Zeke (who is trying to learn how to use 3ds Max... but not with much success so far...)

Re: 3ds Max Exporter tools
I started adding the page on the new wiki, see main page, this is the old article:
http://digitalmindsoft.eu/wiki/doku.php ... ax_plugins
Images don't load because they are wrong linked, select them with right mouse button, press copy link and enter it in a new tab of your browser change /wiki/ to /wiki2/ than save it and add it to the new wiki."If men would consider not so much where they differ, as wherein they agree, there would be far less of uncharitableness and angry feeling in the world" -Joseph Addison

Re: 3ds Max Exporter tools
If I have 3DS Max 2008, am I able to use these tools even though they are for Max 7 and 8? Doesn't importing to a normal ".ply" work in FoW or it is imperative to use the plugins?
