Does this work for 3ds max 2010?

Im also wondering if I can find the tutorial somewhere else, all links just broke when the new forum design came into place.
Edit: This question feels stupid now, I read through the thread and found tons of similiar questions. sorry!

The plug in link does not work could any body upload the plug in. Can you import .mdl files if you can export them in 3ds max (with plug in).

You can only export, not import, also the .mdl files are just structure files, the .ply files are the model.

Also as far as i know, no-one is allowed to re-distribute it unless they have permission from Best Way.

Hi, I read all comment and I know that the tool work only for 3DS max 2008 and 2009.
But now these versions are no longer sold, so I would like use the plugin with the new version (2010 to 2013), I know it's impossible.
But it would be very nice to do an update, for people like me. Many people have advised me download a crack of 3DS max 2009, but I can't I am not too confident in the crack (virus, police,...)

So please can you update the plugin.

    PS : I know how import 3D model from MoW L4zzi .

Plug-ins also work for versions 8 and 9 also, maybe if you contact Autodesk they might be able to help you (i can't help you with contacting them), but at what price, i don't know. Also i believe if you buy the latest 3ds max along with the subscription, you get all previous versions for free (or could be limited).

DMS can't update the plug-ins as they didn't make it, also that program you found to get 3D models, if i know which one you mean, its pretty useless really as you need to do alot of work fixing it, more than making it yourself really.

That program is 3DXRipper, only capture full models, sometimes not textures... if you import a .3dr to autodesk 3dsmax, you have too many work to do...
