    [MOW]Campaign: Exhausting offensive

Exhausting offensive - a Men of War modification
    Authors: alex0809
    Start Date: 20th september 2009
    Single player: Y
Multiplayer: N (possible port of the singleplayer maps)
New maps: Y (only playable in campaign)

I'm working on this campaign, more information soon -
but no screenshots, go see for yourself if its out

I am hoping to make 6-8 missions, however it could also be less

    Mission 1: Hard-fought education

    Mission type: assault -> defend
    Mission length: ca 20 minutes
    Map size: small
    Difficulty: easy

    Briefing:
It's winter 1941. The Germans are advancing in the Soviet Union. To cut off a Russian supply route, your men have to take a school building next to this route and hold it. Your company consists of motorized infantry and armored vehicles.

Mission 2: Against their own weapons

    Mission type: defend (expanding map)
    Mission length: ca 40 minutes
    Map size: medium
    Difficulty: medium

    Briefing:
It's summer 1942. The Russians try to counter-attack and push the Germans back. Your men are stationed near a village. They have dug in perfectly, and the enemy will have to get past several defense lines to reach the village. Additionally, due to the great number of captured weapons, your men are very well equipped but they are only few. Don't let the russians get even more land back! You have to hold them at this position!

    Re: [MOW]Campaign: Fallback

Wow this looks really really fun!

Any updates or screenshots? I think this would be a ton of fun!!!

The eastern front would be the must diffcult and fun to play.

Thats to bad. I thought this would have been a lot of fun. I could try and help you create this campaign. Or would you like to help me create a multiplayer and single mission 1945 Berlin map?

    Re: [MOW]Campaign: Exhausting offensive

I'm currently stuck, because I haven't got any ideas for the next missions

Maybe someone of you has got a good idea? It doesn't have to be completely historical, it should just be a practicable mission that would be fun to play

(Scenario of the mod is the German offensive to the soviet union 1941-1943)

    Re: [MOW]Campaign: Exhausting offensive

I am still learning a ton in GEM, but I am a beginner. Maybe you and I could work on this Campaign or try and get at least one done and see what we think? I think this would be awesome from 1941-1943 and try to make it somewhat historical with a bit of fun as well.

I've never worked together on something like this, but I think it would be a lot of fun. What are your thoughts?

    Re: [MOW]Campaign: Exhausting offensive

The problem is that i actually was stupid enough to not make backups (but the missions werent really playable and even less fun to play anyway ) and, well, Steam got stuffed up (I bought men of war over steam) and I had to reinstall it... I deleted the steam folder and my missions were in there

I was (and am) still more trying out the editor since some things are pretty complicated I think (why, why can't I make the condition "all humans in tag x dead" or something like that? Why does it not work? :brickwall so the first actual release will take some time I guess...

It was pretty dumb of me announcing those missions too early - but Im sure I will release some missions sooner or later (no campaigns though, I will never get one finished)
