FoW > MoW, whats missing and what limits?
I have faces of war somewhere in my cubbord, it's been so long since I have played it. I had SHoWW2 as well and thought it was the most revolutionary advanced thing to ever grace my screen. The damage, penetration, explosions and physics were second to none (think it even came out before HL2s physics), though being slightly not userfriendly and different from mainstream, majority passed on it or gave it 60-70%. I played FoW online for a while, though it was too random and sometimes silly. No tanks was a mortar fest (could get unlimited) which was ruined by a commando flamer :P
Anyone enough ranting, and time for a serious question. I havn't played FoW for a while, but can anyone tell me some of the units that FoW has, that MoW is sorely lacking. The C-47 is the first thing which pops to my head.
Secondly, if i select say 2-4 of the vehicles from FoW which we decide is 'sorely needed', the convert it over to MoW for a quick re-release. Would this cause any problems? I mean developers jumping up in arms and squshing me like a bug problems, not compatablity problems.
If someone can give me a answer for the second question would be great.
Would also be great if you guys could think of a few FoW units which should of been in MoW but are missing. When I find the disc, ill get straight to converting some units over to make our MoW more 'complete'. So if you know anything you miss, want from FoW, now is the time to request it!!
Cheers,

I do think that all vehicles that was in FoW, has also been added to MoW. The C47 plane, if my memory doesnt fail me, I do think that one was from SHOWW2, and not from FoW?

Re: FoW > MoW, whats missing and what limits?
Actually I think you might be right, I guess MoW is really FoW 1.5. Same unit models used, same engine, same near everything. But more of something good is still good, so it's not just a pure cash cow :P

Ok Germans have a transport, A C-47 would allow the allies some paratroop operations. Maybe a spitfire, some ground attack aircraft for the Russians, and a Ju 87G-2 - Anti-tank derivative featuring 2 x 37mm Flak 18 guns underwing cannons would be really cool.
