The thread is ofcourse opened for speculations, as a side note: This project is not affecting the promised patch for MoW.

    Re: New title: GamesCom

I'm pretty clueless. Seems too quick for MoW 2, and I doubt a second expansion would come so short after RT.

    Re: New title: GamesCom

Red Tide is not being produced by Bestway or DMS, just using the MoW engine, so DMS could be making another expansion outside of the RT one, in a different theatre?

I remember that there were a number of expansions out around the same time for SHoWW2, that had nothing to do with Bestway and were made by different companies.

I know that companies like to keep us guessing and interested, but even just a hint at the title or a small screenshot would be more fair to us, as some people as still pretty peed off about the Japanese content being missing from the released game, and the delays in the patches, yet we are getting teased with a new game, which is just cruel!!!

    Re: New title: GamesCom

I'd like to think it's an stand-alone expansion, but it could be something online perhaps.. But it should be compatible with MoW.. If i think about that thread "what would you most like to have in an expansion".. we might get an expansion containing among others; skirmish and new vehicles.

If it now is some kind of addon for MoW, lets hope it doesn't got the same weapons and vehicles etc. as Red Tide will get us, so we would get the double of everything..

After watching what Red Tide contains, i'm hoping for more trains/armoured trains and new buildings, since we'll be getting much tanks and boats and planes in Red Tide.

As long as it's compatible/got something to do with MoW, i can say i'll buy it!

OT: Will the patch containing the japanese be the last for MoW?

Something online I guess... and hope.

    On 1C site it says:

If it is on the list then it could be Majesty 2 or Men of War: Red Tide. As far as I know, only those two are made with the GEM engine, from the list above.

    But as Instinct said :

Well it ain't any of them, Majesty 2 is a fantasy strategy game, while Red Tide isn't a new project, why would they hold that as a new project? It has to be something new. Also, they are going to present the new project, so they can't write it there?

And the word "game", could mean "stand-alone" (compatible with MoW)?

    Re: New title: GamesCom

But of course it has to be a stand alone game, maybe the only common thing with MoW is the engine and that maybe it is still WW2 or something.
