Shotguns: Not much use, but fun.

In other vid games the shotgun is a very empowering gun to have. In MoW it doesn't seem to be fair against rifles, and mgs, unless your soldiers have extra life. I tried using the shotgun in game, got my butt kicked. This video isn't as polished as some, but I thought some people might enjoy it. This isn't the Editor, I've changed things in a saved game.

Hehe, but then shotguns have never been effective weapons in wars due to their limited range. Remington shotguns were used successfully to a small degree by the Americans in WW2 in close combat, though (they were used when assaulting trenches, for instance.)

Shot guns sound good for a trench scenario, after all, it is safer than a flamethrower.

In FOW I didn't realize there even where shotguns until i played chicken hunt and my guys got slaughtered by those stupid farmers. But the Shotguns are very cool wepons but not super effective

And if I remember correctly, the weapon was effective enough that the Germans would execute any American soldier found with this "foul and unfair weapon".
