Re: [MoW] Ultimate Sound Pack addon

Is it possible to play using this online ? Even if no one else has the sound mod or will I get an out of-sync error ?

Do you mean the sounds folder in the mod folder in the mods folder?

Actually, do you think you could copy and paste your file directory to show us how it looks?

    e.g. 'c:\..\men of war\mods\sound'

It would help clear things up. Thanks.

I copied the sound folder to resource folder. I tested it out, but the sounds didnt work. Ok i got once in a while the new sounds shen shooting the german 20 mm autocannon, but it was with 90 % original sound and 10 % the new sound. I even tried deleting the sounds.pak but then the game wont even start.

Doesn't work for me. I have the sounds folder in ...\men of war\resources\ and no new sounds work. When using it as a mod in the mod folder it works just fine, and just to clarify, I'm trying to play regular, vanilla MoW online with the new sounds.

    For me neither.
But I noticed some kind of "clicking noise" when firing the Flak 38 which doesn't belong there.
Mod works fine, when activated the normal way.

    Edit:
It was no "clicking noise", it is the mod's Flak sound interfering with the original sound.

Re: [MoW] Ultimate Sound Pack addon

I really like this mod, especially the machine gun sounds and the ricochets.

However, the Mauser bolt action rifle sounds horrible to me. A friend of mine bought one and the last time we took it to the range, it didn't sound anything like that. So in the meantime I switched it with the FG42 sound. Thats the only thing I think needs improvement.
