    Re: Developers Update 10

Wow! The Pz III F looks great and so does the Pz.Kpfw. IV, however as it looks right now, it isn´t an Ausf. E. The Ausf. E had a totally different looking (it had a set back front) front armor plate, as it is now, it is looking more like a Ausf. F1. Take a look at (http://www.achtungpanzer.com/pz3.htm#panzer4) ((it isn´t a neonazi site, even if you might think so from its name...) and compare the first photo on the page (An Ausf. D) with the photo of the Ausf. F1 and the uparmored Ausf. E further down the page. :grandpa:

The Bison is an awesome piece of machiney, even if it wasn´t manufactured in many examples, it is still great to have it ingame. However the Thor siege machine... with its slow speed and long reloading times, it shouldn´t have been in the game if you ask me, but thats just my opinion. At least you didn´t put the railway gun Dora in the game! With its crew of 1.500 men the game would´ve been unplayable!

Like the Panzer III and IV.
Minor complaints are,did the Panzer III really have such a flat engine deck and surely the Panzer IV will feature a regular grey,non-camo version?

Maybe the Pz-4 will have one.

I agree about the Panzer IV. I remember the Ausf. E having a set back front and a short barreled gun, but I could be wrong. The one in the picture does look like a Ausf. F. The PZ III looks just right. Also how many men will the player need to fully control the Karl Mortar? And will the soldiers faces be improved graphically? They look a bit messed up in FoW.

Yes, we should call it "F1" instead of "E", you are right.

About the soldier skins, what makes you think they are messed up?

The soldier's skins are o.k, but their faces look a bit slanted, or distorted. I don't know how to describe them, my Brain's dictionary isn't very big. :insane:

Also this an old question I aked a few months back...

Hm, good idea, but we'd better concentrate our efforts on gameplay and game interface.
Skael gave me that answer. Is there any chance at this point it will be added?

    Re: Developers Update 10

Instinct, nice photo of a Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. A. It was a very rare beast indeed (and it was phased out in February 1940 due to having poor suspension and only 15 mm of armor), only ten being produced before the Ausf. B replaced it with its staggering number of 15 produced... but the engine deck are correct, it wasn´t until the Ausf. L was drastically changed into the look it has in FoW. However, the rear of the turret should´ve a bulge - the commanders cupola were locaded so far at the rear of the turret that the rear armor plate had a bulge in it. But maybe this is too much to ask from a game? Most gamers will probably not even know about it...

Any chance that a Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D or even an ´correct` Ausf. E will make it into the game?

I don't think we will make another Pz-4 as they only had slight changes nothing really which will be of high value ingame.
