Men of War: Developers update 10

Our 10th and still not the last devupdate will tell you about some German warmachines this time, as not only the Soviets got new early war material to the front.
The PzKpfw III was Germanys first medium tank and was designed for tank on tank combat. The first production models version "F" were equipped with a small 3.7cm anti tank gun. The tank had the role to fight against other tanks while the PzKpfw IV was supporting the infantry. Unfortunately its weak gun was very soon obsolete and the tank became more of an infantry support tank during the rest of war.

The PzKpfw IV is the most widely used German tank in WW2. The version "D" was the first version intended for combat and version "E" had increased front and side armor. It was armed with a 75mm short barrel gun and was not designed for tank on tank combat, more than that for infantry support and destruction of defence lines. Its 75mm HE shells could do lots of damage to fortifications but due its low muzzle speed and inaccuracy it was not the best weapon against other tanks.
The SIG33 or called Sturmpanzer I was self-proppelled howitzer carrying a powerful 150mm gun. It was first mounted on a Panzer I chassis and given armored side skirts, but this was soon found to be unbalanced and the huge recoil made it very dangerous to fire because the vehicle could flip over on its side. Never the less it was a deadly weapon.

The self-propelled version of the 60cm siege mortar was ordered in June 1937. General Karl Becker of the Artillery was involved in the development, hence the name Karl was used to describe the gun. In 1942 it saw action against Sevastopol and this is the most known usage of the vehicle.
Names of the Guns were: Adam, Eva, Odin, Thor, Loki and Ziu.
With its 60cm it was not just a siege weapon it was a terror weapon for the enemies.

Beautiful! I love the sig33.
One question connected with the screenshots. Will it be possible that the russian and the german soldiers will have snow clothes? (I know the germans already have it)

Re: Developers Update 10
The Soviets have winter clothes aswell, they are not white except the snipers that's true, but if you look into the editor you will notice the difference of the uniforms, they are much thicker than the standart equipment.

It is possible that we will do lying mgun positions, but the tripods will be kept.

Re: Developers Update 10
Wow, the Karl Mortar!
I hope you have a good crater for when the shell hits the ground
. Can't wait to use the new models! When you compare them even with DE for S:HOWWII there is an obvious winner. The details are superb. And is that a foxhole I spot in the third picture? Brilliant work guys! As always, can't wait for the addon!

Re: Developers Update 10
Nice models back there! I'm starting to wait the addon even more egerly when you release these devupdates
I really like that KV-1 picture. If it had better graphics and other stuff it could be a real photoshot from WW2
EDIT: Will the addon feature a backflipping Sturmpanzer?
I want pictures back to signatures :<
