Backpack Question
Is it possible to add backpack to any infantry?

Don't see why not, you could set it up like body armor and just shift it to the rear by a foot or so.

U mean like a Rucksack ? cause its been already made in Faces of War eye for an eye mod. If ur talking about a backpack that can hold stuff then yea it is possible to make.

No, I mean like adding a bush or grass to any helmet. I would like to add a backpack to any infantry so that they appear like carrying a backpack.

Its 100% possible happened in Faces of War mods and can happen again. All u need to do is skin !

We also had this in EFAE :P And also if the backpack took enough damage it could be torn into pieces sending the stuff inside it flying :grandpa:

I don't think I can create a new human skin since I can't use 3ds max
Btw, that’s actually what I really meant, how to create or edit a new human skin? For example I would like to add the backpack that carried by the usa bazooker to the usa tank crew?

Or maybe adding an eyeglass the one from german helmet/cap to the usa novice helmet.

Id like to know how to do that too, i used to do what was called 'model mixing' which is essentially what your asking for Company of heroes using alpha channeling, however i dont think MoW utilises alpha channeling to remove/ replace items of models. The only option is to create a new item i.e a backpack or ammo pouch in 3ds max as an item which is stored within the soldiers inventory. Once picked up or equipt within the inventory the unit with have the extra ammo pouch/backpack on him.
