Test Mode poll

Who here wants test mode back?

Test mode was a gamemode back in beta that gave you 9k resources and instant spawning units. It was great for setting up defensive scenarios with few players but a big front and when you set your units to move at will, it was kind of like a little player vs ai guided by player match, like a director mode.
I hope for this mode to come back and ask if people share this opinion.

I don't want this to be enabled in ranked mode or anything similar, but be an option in the advanced menu that you can choose, while if necessary presenting a warning that it "might disrupt gameplay" if necessary.

I also have seen several mods out there that tried to bring it back, but most of them failed for me, either by including different unit compositions or making stuff stay forever, which makes it kind of hard to place a group of infantry behind a wall when all you see is "examine corpse".

Either officially or a solo mod that brings test mode back as an addon rather than a replacing mod for all gamemodes, I would very much like to play this, be it Team Deathmatch, Free for all or even Hold the Flag (FFA?)

yessssss please! it was so great. In beta me and my friends used to play 2 vs 1 matches with the test mode and it was awesome, the one alone just put the defensive perimeter up and me and the another friend would mass attack it with infantry and tanks :P

one of my best memories about test mode though is katysha spam in dead river while playing important cargo with my friend "Oh the cart is moving... eat lead!" And 8 katyshas launch a devastating barrage upon the friends PNZ III cargo taking vehicle hitting all the tigers and panthers around it and the forest starts burning and everything explodes

I suggest this topic is renamed a "test mod poll". I definitely don't want a predominance of silly non-tactical game hosts. A test mod is just for a test. Playing is a whole different story.

I'd certainly want this back! Although.. it would be fun with unlimmited time option too.. would fit perfect with this. Also when we have this.. think of a mod that would be able to give us all units.. combined with this mode! :insane:
