Help to get started!
Hi!
I tried to search but had no luck, so I decided to start a new topic for me and every other wannabe-modder :typing:
How do you make a simple mp mod, like changing unit costs, increasing the cp limit, changing squad's weapons/men and so on? So no 3d modelling or such. I know how to open those pak-files, but where could I find the files I need, and how can I build a mod out of them? I'd really appreciate some detailed advice, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Games don't make people violent, lag does.

Explosion Effects files
Hi all, I have a question. Where and how can I change the explosion effect of a determinated weapon/explosive? Such as grenades, HE rounds.
I changed almots all of the explosion effects, but i want to create new explosion effects.
Ive bin searching the file that "connects" the explosion effect to the determinated explosion but there is nothing related.

Check the *.inc files in set\interaction\entity
add_view command links FX-types to entity bones.

Exchange the .avi with a picture, nice and simple. Though, theres some overlay on the menu which makes kinda sepia looking, dunno bout that

Disappearing vehicles, corpses etc
Does anyone know of a way or a mod that makes everything stay forever, debris, destroyed vehicles, corpses etc? A tank that could potentially be great cover shouldn't disappear, neither should a corpse with valuable ammo on it. (Okay, I just love watching the carnage
)
So, anyone know? I would really love that, as it has been bugging me incessantly ever since I discovered it.
And, how do you install mods?
