    "Enemy introduced new tank !
Shape roughly similar to ‘Tridsatchedverka’ (T-34).
Tank is heavily armored, weight is est. 40-50 tons.
Armament is probably 88mm AA gun.
We had losses at combat ranges beyond 2,000m."

Zeke, do you have any idea how to fix the armor slope for tanks converted from FoW? I have successfully converted your tanks from FoW to MoW, but the problem is that they have no armor slope -at least not when looking into specifications.

    Thanks
Polyhedron volume setup is different from FOW. They need a special face ID and smoothing group assignment.
    Please check out

    and section 2.2.1. in particular.

If you don't assign the correct assignment, your armor will not work well. It can either be to strong or to weak (for example: body backside is associated with turret front). Sometimes bullet hit can look strange.

Angles are calculated from polyhedron, mesh object, volumes. Conversion will only work if face ID and smoothing group numbering has been done.

I didn't understand anything of that. Is that something done with a modeller program, or via textcoding? But thanks for your answer regardless!

Its a modelling thing, has nothing to do with textcoding, unfortunately.

But I´ve so far ported a few of my vehicles, and they seem to be working... but I´ve lots of work left to do.

    Re: Questions on modding.

I have already asked this question in a thread earlier, but I thought I would post it here aswell:

Which files do I use to create a new "type of troops"? I mean a fresh one, instead of editing the existing four (which is infantry only, tanks only, no artillery and all vehicles). Or is this hardcoded?
