Re: Shortcut for switching shell type in Direct Control Mode?
Nope, second mouse button changes weapons, 0 on numpad (insert) changes ammo type, or grenades if you have them selected. Like medbrat said.

MP Beta Question: How do you use the supply truck?
Hello All,
I don't have any manual for this game and don't know where to go to find this out, but it's not making me happy! Ok, I've tried to use the resupply trucks a few times now. When I get the men off the truck or off a artillery piece to grab ammo out of the back and take it to the gun... if it's men off the supply truck, the truck blows up while I'm looking at the inventory of the truck! If it's the crew off the gun, the gun blows up while I'm inspecting the trucks' inventory. What gives? How do you get the men off the truck/cannon without the unit blowing up? How do you re-arm artillery and the like with the supply truck? How do you re-fuel somethings? So aggravating. Where is a manual for this game?
Please advise,
Camper

Select the truck press "X" for examine and then select the vehicle you would like to rearm.

You can also go to the Game Guides section to learn how to do other things you may not know here..

If you press L twice it's abandon vehicle, so the crew jumps off while lighting up a stick of dynamite. You should use E to get the crew off safely.

Officers and Binoculars
Hey all. I have recently purchased MOW and am very very impressed with the game, especially the online matches.
My query is about the use of officers. It states in their description, that they are equipped with binoculars. However, when I run them around the map, it seems that their line of sight is exactly the same as other infantry units. Are the binoculars a special item which you have to equip? I tried direct control mode, but that didnt seem to change anything at all in terms of improving visual range. Please let me know if you know

Re: Controls and interface
Binoculars should work when you take them in your hand in direct control and start aiming around, there should be a "vision spot" you can aim around. Also if you switch to binoculars, your unit will automatically try to follow enemies with it, if he spots any. You can also order officers to "attack" with binoculars, so he will keep the vision spot over the enemy unit, if his range allows it.
So binoculars don't make his native vision range any bigger, but they'll give you a spot of no fog of war which you can use to spot enemy positions or such.http://www.digitalmindsoft.eu/outcom...b/soldiers.png

Re: Officers and Binoculars
Yet another way of using binoculars is to order an officer to "attack ground" in which case he will keep watch over a chosen area.
