Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
Ok, everyone now know what you think is the best tank of WW2. However, if you do post this message again, I will send you a warning for spamming. Enough is enough.

Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
first off i like it one weapons fire more like thay should a M1 Garand should fire one bullet after another till its dry not like a fast firing bolt action this is why i made mine fire that way along with making the BAR and mp-44 fire like rifles rather than a LMG and a SMG also like in the realism mod thay changed it so that bolt actions fire faster but meh i like to see it matter more one the rifles not self loading thus i keep those at the same rate as all and all a rifle is all you need but how many roles it fills in your army is the question one you look at a weapon thats why i don't mind having SVTs and M1s fire so fast along with BARs and MP-44s even tho its a little unfair for the bolt action rifle armed boys i like it plus it gives you a reason to loot the good weapons

Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
Does anyone find the Crusader III useful? It seems to me that the gun is okay, but the armor is really too weak. It's speed is also pretty low (which was definitely not true in real life: ingame, it's slower than the Sherman). What do you guys think?

PPSh
Suggestion for the next patch:
Lower the dmg or the precision of the PPSh. That weapon is just ridiculous with Russian SMG Inf.
Had 2 K98 riflemen (prone) shooting at a SMG soldier (at first running, then prone) within high/med range. They did not even hit once. But then he killed both riflemen each with 2-3 bursts at med range. :wilting:
Same happend to 2 MP-40 SMG soldiers at med range. They did not even manage to take half the health of the opponent.
Just an example. Happens almost every game. Anyone else noticed something like that?
Ok, the PPSh was a good weapon, no question...but balancing is another thing. What's the advantage of the other nations SMG troops?

Care to add a pair of commas and dots here and there? Your post made my eyes twitch.

Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
It's less of you being clever and more you either being lucky or the guy with the IS3 dumb. The DShK on the IS3 will tear apart a Puma.

Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
question:
why all russian tanks are so much resistant against AT-grenades? when i hit eg. T34/76 with 5 !!! AT-grenades max. engine or turret are broken. sometimes ive only "Crew shocked".
... but when 1 russ. AT-greande hit my tanks - BOOOM !!! tank killed. realy, that sucks more than this "tankkiller" ISU-152 .... :sick:Storm over Europe Mod was canceled !!!

Re: Vehicles and weapons discussion
That's because most of the German AT grenades are just a bundle of their normal grenades. The Soviet AT grenade is a proper shaped charge. German tanks have mostly flat surfaces which are optimal for shaped charges to detonate on and penetrate. Soviet designs are mostly sloped which makes explosives less likely to cause harm.
