Servers Down? (again)

YAY instinct!

Hey man, yeah ive made sure that my windows firewall isnt blocking the game so thats ok - so it must be my router - however im not quite sure how to set that to not block the game :S or what ports to open etc. Can you help with this ?

I have a router to, but I don't think this could be the problem. Sometimes it happens to me to, only one of the 2 servers are down.
As if you think it is your router, then try to google it for the solution by typing something like "router name and model" and how to open ports on it or firewall settings.

Ah thanks for your help guys !

Ive found my router settings and i can now open ports etc - i just need to know witch ones MOW is using so that i can enter them in! :x

Does anyone know ?

God i hope i can get this sorted out soon - i tried to play FOW online earlyer and it made me cry! MOW just blows it out of the water! really well done guys its like 1000x better than FOW was!

I found it somewhere on the net that Faces of War requires the 3210,6667,27900,28910 ports. I realy do not know if this will solve your MOW problem but maybey it worth a try. BTW have you tried connecting with MOW without using your router ?

Ah thanks i will definately try those ports. No i havent tried connecting without my router yet - i will try later maybe i was trying to avoid that though as id rather be able to play through my router :P as other people use the internet here.

Yeah just tried those ports and also tried without router - no difference

I guess there is some ironing out to do somehwere - I hope that the dedicated servers can be a little more consistent soon!

Then it is maybe something to do with the antivirus you use

or you should ask your ISP if he blocks some ports (mine for example do limit some ports but on bandwith not on access). Aniway, good luck finding a solution, hope anyone can come with more ideas and if you find the solution please tell us to. TNX.
