Did the Russians use smoke grenades in WW2?
Did the Russians use smoke grenades in WW2? And if so, to what extent?
I'm doing some research for the next version of my mod, so I would appreciate if someone could answer my question.

Well I can't say I know for certain but they most probably did. A smoke grenade isn't anything too technologically advanced so they would most likely have them available.

Re: Did the Russians use smoke grenades in WW2?
I have another question about Russian grenades:
A lot of times when I see footage of Soviet troops throwing nades the grenades are on fire. Why did their grenades catch fire/ get lit on fire?

They were probably using Molotov cocktails instead of regular grenades.
