The difficult settings are located in the set folder, open the game.pak with winrar and search for it.

No, I don't want to change the settings, I want to know, how to make a testrun on tactics ("taktisch", in the German edition of the game) in the editor.

You need the run the map through the game itself, create for it a small minimod including your map.
