Men of War: Developers update 33

You already know that the accuracy of your tanks depends on their mounted guns and that a fast movement of the chassis or turret will decrease their accuracy drastically.
Today we talk about all the factors being influenced by shooting with a gun:
Shooting while moving
It's a lot harder to hit an enemy tank while you are moving, compared to slow motion or none. The faster you move, the less accuracy will be provided by your tank gunner.
The same goes for the turret, the faster it turns the less accurate it will be.
Type of shell
Depending of the type of shell the accuracy decreases, for example high explosive shells are a lot more inaccurate than armor piercing ones.
Offering you another tactical choice.
Multiple shots
After each subsequent shot on one area of a tank (in the zone R=10 m around of the chosen target) the accuracy increases, and the cursor changes. The highest accuracy is reached on the third shot. This is simulating the fact that a gunner will be more accurate with each shot he fires on the same target.
Also the circle indicating the accuracy will change it colors according to a possible success your shell will have.

This feature will provide a small help to newcomers in the game, but all features in total will make tank combat a lot more interesting and give the tanks a higher value on the virtual battlefields of Men of War."If men would consider not so much where they differ, as wherein they agree, there would be far less of uncharitableness and angry feeling in the world" -Joseph Addison

Re: Men of War: Developers update 33
Sounds great.
I do think that inaccurate HE shells will decrease their spam usage, but I do not know how realistic that is (I think it MIGHT be realistic, but I do not have proof. There will be other people qualified to spam their knowledge).
Does this accuracy-increase due to multiple shots also work for tank mounted flak and at-cannons or only for tanks? How about tank destroyers with no traversable tank turrets?
Will the accuracybonus reset once the tank moves its aim somewhere else and only then or also when it is on the move or turning around in circles on the ground (to reposition itself and its main front armor)? Will tanks with gyrostabilization (whatever
) be able to move and keep a good accuray? Maybe not top notch accuracy but the second of the three ones...
Ah stuff I'd rather like to test than talk about. :grandpa:You only live once.

Can we drive slowly in direct control? Because theres the button to allow u to move slowly but it didnt work in direct control.
edit: is it any chance that the shells in the tanks get the real names? Not just HE or AP.Its not a bug its a feature :)

Re: Men of War: Developers update 33
Its true HE shells are inaccurate because of there slow speed for example:

Nice! Very nice, but has HrcAk47 will we got other shells? Panther and alot of other tanks didn t use AP...
And a fast question, will the Panther bug(the belly shot or in the hull close to the belly) be fixed? Any medium tank hit there kills the panther in Faces of War...even if the armor is set to 1000...."Enemy introduced new tank !
Shape roughly similar to ‘Tridsatchedverka’ (T-34).
Tank is heavily armored, weight is est. 40-50 tons.
Armament is probably 88mm AA gun.
We had losses at combat ranges beyond 2,000m."
