No-CD for Multiplayer

Hi,

I think the multiplayer-game.exe should be without cd-protection.

Singleplayer-game.exe with CD protection
Multiplayer-game.exe without CD protection

Battlefield2, Call of Duty 4, World in Conflict are game which works in multiplayer without any CD in drive.
That's very nice and accomodate the costumers.

Dunno if this is an attempt of April Fools... But basically, what you are suggesting is an open door to piratery of all sorts.

Lets resume. Singleplayer protection cant hold on indefinetely. Eventually a crack will pop up and there is nothing to be done about that.

But, an effective MP protection means a pirate copy will be unable to play the better part of the game, the MP.

If the pirate player actually likes the game, he may decide to buy a copy for Mp. Everybody wins.

What you are suggesting is act of pure madness.

I agree, it's so booring when you got to search for your disk (at least me) when you putten it with the other 100 games and in wrong case, just to play one match online. It would be very nice to us if you would do this, or do as warcraft 3, release a patch where you don't need the cd for mp any longer.

I agree, If the Multiplayer part (based on the beta & after that) are CD Protected, what use is a CD protection?
Unless some one makes a MoW Keygen... As it is.. Most CD protections are quiet useless..
Also Battlefield2 has CD check protection.. In the latest patch even.. So what are you on about it not having CD check protection..

HrcAk47, How is he? If there is CD Keys, CD checks are generaly the most worthless thing in the world, I've got a game which REQUIRES me to get a nocd exe because its cd checker is so useless that with my BOUGHT Disc it thinks I dont have a CD in. -_-' Said game is Desert Rats vs Afrika Korps.

No-cd is gr8 for legal people who dont want to have to use cracks all over there games so they dont have to switch cd's 24/7, My FoW discs installer is bugged, I think due to how many times Ive taken it out and put it in and that its just.. bad quality disc.. (seriously I've had games I've given worse and still no corruption or damage)

It's starcraftthat dosent require a CD, using its "Spawns". lol

There is (on outfront2) and i think there will be the "starforce" protection on men of war, no cd is for piratery, this topic is closed now....thx
