Maybe you misunderstand me, the sold out version or downloaded version does not work, they do ofcourse with the combat upgrade...

Oh so it does work.... Thats Great! Thanks for that I was getting a bit confused. I just have to get Vista working now.
P.S. Does anyone know why you have to buy some special DVD'S to get Vista working? Why couldn't they just store it on the computer or have the DVD's included with the laptop?Tigerkiller

Finally it works online with gamespy on Vista. I don't know if it was mentioned here before, but it is good to know that SHOWW2 and gamespy arcade incompatibility under vista was caused becouse vista need to be updated to sp1.

one person says to set compatability mode for vista service pack 2 but i dont have that and i dont know how to get it , i have the steam version and since steam dosnt allow me to play it in windows ME 98 version. how else can i get this to work on W7? any ideas that work?
