Help i can't win!
Im wargamer about 10 years. MoW is great compromis between realism and action and i enjoy playing this game. The problem is i always played turnabsed strategies like steel panthers or combat mission. When i play Mow i don't have usually problem with tactic and strategy, the thing is i don't know how to execute them in realtime. I send my troops find a perfect defense positions and switch to different part of the map and ten seconds later they are overrun and slaughtered by someone who is micromanaging a tank, mortar and couple of smgs.
Do you have some advices how to manage the battlefield and the troops more efectivelly? (For instance i don't know if its better to leave my infantry on free move they seek cover automatically which is good, but they often getting killed because they do something stupid.)
Thanks

Re: Help i can't win!
Basically what steiner said. Playing turn based is a slower style of gameplay. A game like this requires more micromanagement and far more reaction based skill.
Practice and try improving your speed in how to react and countering the enemy even if it isn't the best tactical way to do so, it'll help you adjust at the rate of how the game is played. Once you're at a confident level of speed and reactivity(redundant words now), then you can combine both with tactics.
That or play some FPS games for awhile - different genre, but they require exactly what I overstated in reaction skill and speed. Also memorizing keybinds for commands and familiarizing yourself with the interface helps too.Game Balance > Historical Accuracy - If you can't accept proper moderation of either, you deserve neither.

Hit backspace, and lower the speed, -it works if you get overwhelmed!

Re: Game guides (how to play)
I as well came from the turn-based side of wargames. Steelpanthers & Combat mission as well.
Another option which is beneficial (in SP anyway) - Pause key.
Lots of great info in these guides. Thanks for the links!
